What was your area of expertise? Did you have a full time job (and do you still have it)? What previous employment skills did you find you have were the ones that helped you the most? Did you run an "traditional" business before discovering your Work From Home/Online Income option.

What was the scariest thing to you about entering the Online Business Market?

For thos who still work FT in a traditional job, have you picked up any new skills that you have found helped you advance your position or garner an increase in employment income from your employer?

How do you set yourself up in regards to benefits. Medical, dental, insurance plans etc.?

Have you ever had a chance to partake in a "Breakfast Meeting" or like event where you can network in person with other Online Marketers/Affiliates?

Just some questions I thought of.

Wasn't really scary to me, that I can remember except just for the unknown... when I FIRST got started working at home, it was with an $11,000+ investment.... yeah, I know... it was before I knew better. lol

You know, I never had that anyways - only went to 8th in school and was a stay at home Mom for years and years until my hubby was laid off all winter so I picked up part time work to help out, and it didn't come with benefits... I never had enough dr bills to worry about so I just never worried about it, I guess!

I never did but I think it would be a blast!

Completed high school, 2 certificates in Customer Contact. Full time in accounting for 2 years, then college for 1 1/2 years, dropped out to manage my parents small businesses 7 days a week for 5 years. Moved into call centre management and a top performer in selling. Moved into finance where i became 2ic.

The management experience has greatly helped me with confidence and being able to lead is my passion. It just made things easier. These days working working from home, you need to be able to stand out from the crowd and allow yourself to become a leader. People follow people who they most likely want to be or aspire to.

I have since quit my job and have started my online business full time. I didn't need people telling ME how much I could earn...

You need to believe in yourself more then anything.

Bachelors in financing.
Most of my life has been self-employed.
When I came to America, I spent a few years working construction, first for somebody, then for myself, would work without any days off for a few weeks in a row, 7 am - 7 or 8 pm, was actually known for this thing.

One time (the only time) I overslept and everybody seriously decided that I got into a car accident, because "he just never ever been late!"

Didn't get me anywhere.

Spent a few years flipping houses. Hated it as well as construction.

My knowledge of the Internet and computers was this: my friends would go to the local University to check their emails, and one day one of them told me about the site where you would be able to download Russian music, I don't remember the name, let's call it "music.ru" So he said "You just type in MUSIC.RU and that's how you get there. I immediately got mad, because it was completely meaningless to me, and started yelling at him "What do you mean TYPE IN? Just type in the middle of the screen MUSIC.RU, or what?" Hi explained.

When I purchased my first computer a few years ago, I had heard that if you go to a porn-site, you can get some virus, so I didn't go to any of them. I attempted to do it only once and my computer literally died! Went blank! I had to throw it away! It was the only time in my life I went to a porn site.

That was my experience with computers.

I had to learn Internet Marketing from scratch and it took me only about 2 or 3 month to learn how to get to the first page of Google organically over night, I even had a business helping small business owners to promote themselves on the Internet. My wife hates me, because she had taken a computer science class before and I know things that she never heard about!

There was nothing scary about this business, just another thing to learn and to start applying, like any other business I started before.

About the health and dental insurance - my wife works at the hospital and I'm covered by her plan.

Good luck!
