Hello,
I apologise in advance for seeming like an idiot, but I have been reading through these forums for about 2 hours now and I still feel none the wiser..
Here's my situation; I am unable to get a 'proper' job due to reasons I shall not go into now. My partner works but we struggle to make ends meet on his wages alone. I was hoping to find some way of earning some money from home.

So, I was thinking along the lines of being a chat-help person or a forum moderator or a typist of some sort but I can't seem to find anywhere that can help me find work like this.

Please understand I don't want to make loads of money, I cannot give a lot of my time up for this. If I had the ability to do a lot of work, I would get a 'normal' job.

If there was something that I could just give up a few hours a day to so that I could make a little bit of money that would be fantastic.

I used to sell a few things on eBay, but the getting to the post office side of things was proving to be too much.

Is there anywhere that I can go to get some help? I really need to earn some money. There must be someone who would be willing to pay me to do something!

I live in the UK, not the US, but I have been unable to find a forum such as this based in this country.

Thank you VERY much in advance for any help that you might be able to give me.

There are quite a few ladies that seem to do well with writing articles etc... if you go to the forum over at wahm.com/forum you should be able to find help on that.

This forum focuses more on building our own websites and blogs which you could do as well... but it is not like a job where you can get paid by the piece or per word, etc...

Good luck!

You can also do paid surveys...
surveylot.com has a big base of places that actually pay,
after you do it for maybe 2-3 weeks you can get big surveys that are worth $10-$20.

Hope it helps!

Hi, this is a UK based forum that is really good and one I use myself.

http://www.honestworkfromhomesuccess.com/

Depending on your level of skill there are people out there that are looking to pay people to do things online. You don't need to just look on the net you can also advertise in your local area. People are happy to have a person who can type things for them or even do emails for them.

If you want to earn a living off the net with a reasonable amount of money to retire early on then you need a good mentor and a plan of action.

Just know that the best way to make good money online is to get into affiliate programs. You will sell other people's products but this is the best way to go in my view.

If you are not interested in starting your own online business and just want to be paid to help others with theirs, there are definitely places you can sign up to do article writing.

Probably one of the best places would be odesk.com You bid on the jobs that are listed and if awarded the work, you complete it and are paid.

Something "new" to consider is fiverr.com. I don't think you have to be in the US to register because I've used people from there who I don't think were US based.

Basically, you just list things you would do for $5 and people hire you if they are interested. It's quite simple, but effective. If you have a look at what is already listed, it may give you ideas of things you could offer to do for people that are within your own abilities.

Hope that helps.
Blessings,
Angie
