If your required to view .pdf files or videos in training programs and are on dial-up, what's the easiest way around this? I live in a rural community that does not have access to DSL or cable and in order for me to really maximize my opportunities, I'd need to upgrade to my only two options, satellite or wireless/cell and of course BOTH are extremely expensive for my budget right now.
Is there a way I can convert online .pdfs to html format? That would solve most of my problems right now.

Search the exact pdf file's url in google. If they are catched by google, a html view will be available. You can view in that.

Hi,
I think I have a solution to your problem in regards to opening pdf files.
First, download the mozilla firefox browser if you don't already have it.
Then go the tools bar and click on the add-ons button. In the search bar, search for "pdf download". Download the first add on.
This program will allow you to see pdf files in firefox as html files. It's a lot quicker than downloading them!

Not only can you look up the pdf on google, but if you use gmail, then if someone emails you a pdf file, you can view it in HTML. That should be much quicker for you.
