I kind of stick to the slow method, mainly because the few times I have found a fast method it's a scam or for one reason or another it stops.
These days I research keywords for niche markets that don't get too much competition for the keywords I choose. I then buy a domain that fits the keyword phrase and start article marketing.
It usually takes me about 3 months to start earning and then once that starts I leave the site and only add to it periodically.
My first successful sites like this were completely by accident but they got my brain working a bit and now I have a nice little network going.
Now I would still jump onto a get rich quick idea but only because I have put the time and effort into my slower growing sites and would be willing to put in some hours on not so sure thing.

I make a decent living at affiliate marketing... However I generally spend a minimum of 10-12hrs a day... 7 days a week...
I don't consider the work Hard because I get to pick which 12 I work <grin>

"There is no short cut to experience" and i will add "there is no short cut to become rich". It is a very rare rare rare..... case in which some one is so lucky to become rich at once. otherwise all of us have to go through a process. some people understand that process quickly while others have to wait. I will say that a slower approach results in a more stable income stream.

I think there is no "$1000 per week, only sit back and watch", you always have to do something. It can be writing more articles, recruiting more people to your subscription list, it's always something.
