hasn't indexed my blog. It's been about a week and still nothing. I have signed up under webmaster tools and have had it verified, but still no indexing going on. Why me!

It can take up to 3 weeks for a blog to get indexed

Try setting up a Squidoo lens and/or a HubPage to promote your blog. I've known a lot of people to get indexed really fast due to those two places. If you only have time for one, I'd start with HubPages as Squidoo seems to be falling out of favor a bit lately. That's just an impression, mind you, but it seems that way.

Last year I put up a blog that was indexed in 24 hours with hardly any backlinks to speak of.
I already posted about this in another thread on this board somewhere, but couldn't remember what I had done to get it indexed so fast. Then suddenly I remembered - Feedburner!!!
Do yourself a favour and go get it, it's 100% free. They'll distribute your RSS feed far and wide to the furthest reaches of cyberspace, including Google and other directories.
I had traffic coming in from places I never would've imagined, thanks to Feedburner!
