Welcome Candy!

You are in a great position if you have a lot of free time in the next few months. If you don't waffle between a number of different projects and get stuck into building a website you could have a great deal of it built and working for you by the time you return to work in April.

After that, you will only need to do routine maintenance a couple of hours a week when you are back to work. Who knows? If you happen upon a really profitable niche you could kick that job good bye for good next winter.

My suggestion is to think about what you really enjoy doing. It doesn't matter if it is a hobby or something related to your current work or something else entirely. You can build an online business around something you love. It sure makes it easier when you have a genuine interest in your subject.

You can start with affiliate marketing (that's getting commissions by promoting other people's products). It is a great way to get started without a lot of capital or experience.

Check out the free affiliate course in my signature. I printed it out and read it when I was first getting started. It made the world of difference for me. It will help you understand the whole process and give you some direction.

Everyone here knows I recommend SBI (or Sitesell's SiteBuildIt), especially for beginners. It is because I know it works from personal experience. I had no prior internet knowledge or experience (apart from emailing) last year. With SBI's step by step training and simple to use tools, I have created two websites that are in the profit and bringing in a few hundred dollars extra each month.

There are, of course, many other ways to earn money online, but I only like to personally vouch for what I know works. This does.

Feel free to browse around my sites and see if it is the type of thing you might want to try. Don't think, "I could never do that." Remember, I didn't have a clue either. If you can follow instructions, you can build a site at least as good as mine, but probably better.

You will bring your own knowledge, personal experiences, and passion to the task.

Invest your time and energy in the next couple of months wisely and you will be well on your way.

If I can help at all, feel free to send me a note and I'll do my best.
