Hey guys what's up? I wanted to share some valuable information on how to get started as an online entrepeneur. Now, If you are looking to make a couple of bucks to go have some fun on the weekends, Your mindset will be different then the one who is trying to make a decent living out of an online career.

Now, In order to start making money online, you need to understand that there are 4 steps to making a successful web business:

- Find a healthy niche: by healthy, I mean PROFITABLE. Do not start your own niche. Go into one you KNOW makes money, like weight loss, for example.

- Website: Now, you have to build a one page website talking about this niche. Also, you want to try to give something away for FREE that is of VALUE. (something people will like).

- Build your list: now, you need to get people to sign up to your list by generating traffic to it. (telling people about your website, etc.)

- Promote products: After you have finished building a list, you can start promoting products to them.

this is the general 4 step process. Now here's what you need:

- Domain name: The name of your website. remember to make it simple and catchy. godaddy.com is a good company for this.

- Host: you need a hosting company to get your website online. hostgator is a good company for this.

- autoresponder: this allows you to get people's email addresses. Aweber is an amazing company for this.

- website builder: If you want to build your own website from scratch, Kompozer is a free software where you can do this.

Good luck and please post any questions you have

And another thing to consider is that you need to increase your visitors per day in order to increase your income.

If you get a little traffic you will get little commissions.

If you bring in lots of traffic and do this on a consistent basis, then you will get lots of commissions.

Traffic is the key to online success.

You can have the most beautiful website promoting a popular product or niche, but without traffic you will not make any money.

Learning traffic strategies is the most important part of an internet business.

For some people starting out, building a website might seem daunting. One way to overcome this is to start out creating a blog not only does it allow you to get used to the way in which the internet works (ie indexing etc) but its is also completely free!

Just thought I would throw a little tip out there for the beginners.

And if all of that is too overwhelming - just concentrate on building a website with something like SBI ... they will help you figure out how to find a good niche and show you all about SEO and keywords...
