Hi Folks ...
I am the new guy in town to this forum ..... I have been trying to generate an income on the internet for upwards of 10 years now , with very moderate results for my efforts. I have tried most of the standard fare when it comes to online profits from ebay to affiliate marketing ... I even had my own store front with actual physical inventory that I purchased upfront and tried to sell . I took an item that was something I really believed in and was very passionate about and was sure the rest of the world would be also and buy them from me untill the cows came home ... Well sorry to say that last one just about broke me ... I am now working upwards of 60 hours a week at my job to dig out . But I figure what the heck I gave it a shot .
So now I am looking around for biz opps to try and thats where this forum and you nice folks come in ... I hope

Hi ParzLou,

Welcome to the forum. I've been into online marketing for over 9 years. I'm looking forward to learning some things from you.

Sorry to hear about your brick and mortar difficulty. I've found things in the past that I was sure would catch on too. I was very disappointed when few saw the usefulness in these items.

Good attitude regarding your troubles. Good luck digging out and have fun interacting with the folks that hang out here :) There are a few gems in the rough.

Hi ParzLou! I'm pretty new here too. Sorry to hear about your business troubles, but I'm sure you'll find something that works great for you.

Welcome to the forum. I think Edison failed over 1,000 times before he invented the light bulb, so don't get too discouraged!

Hi ParzLou,
Welcome. You've got me curious. The online storefront you had - what were you selling? Do you know what went wrong? Were you unable to generate traffic to your site or was the product itself just not in demand? I wonder if perhaps a slight remedy like targeted traffic would have made the difference for you, is all.

Do you still have boxes of product in your garage? I hope not. Unless you are willing to give it another try to keep selling them.

Sorry for being so nosy. Sometimes I just can't help myself.

I was selling Fishing lures good product just didnt sell I dont think traffic was an issue, as at the time I was involved with yahoo stores and there are pretty well placed among searches and such ....... I was aligned with a manufacturer that produced product for other well known tackle makers ie bass pro shops and such . But there own label never took of and I had too move on .... thanks to ebay and some fire sales I no longer have any stock on hand

Pricing and perceived quality also matters
