Ok - I cannot seem to find my original post concerning this topic

My question is - how do you get RSS feed to your blog and how do you use it?

What is RSS feed exactly and what are the benefits of it?

Thanks

You can read:

Most blog software have designated urls for RSS feeds. If you have a blog made through Wordpress, then the url for RSS feed would be:
http://www.yourblogurl.com/feed/ or http://www.yourdomain.com/blog/feed/ depending on whether your blog resides in the main domain itself or a sub domain "blog".

Go to feedburner.com. It's the best thing you'll ever do for your blog or website, trust me.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content, such as a blog entry or a podcast. An RSS document, which is called a "web feed," or a "channel," contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text.

RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with their favorite web sites in an automated manner that's easier than checking them manually.

Feedburner ROCKS! I get traffic to my blog from sources I've never even heard of because people who make squidoo lenses pick up RSS feeds to make their content "fresh". Heck, there are even people out there promoting Wealthy Affiliate, and I get traffic to MY Wealthy Affiliate blog from the feeds on THEIR site! Weird, but true...

Thanks,
Anita
