Hello all,
I will be graduating in December, and many of my friends graduated in June.
With the tough job market out there, many of my friends are looking for alternative ways to make money besides your traditional 9 to 5 job.
Are there any tips anyone can give me, as to how they, or anyone they know successfully found freelance work.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi GravyTrain,
You can take a look at elance.com or Google "freelance".
As to how - create a nice profile with a portfolio on freelance sites. Show your stuff aka why someone would hire you. Experience helps quite a bit.

The best place to look for freelance jobs is Elance.com - check it out sometime - there are lots of jobs in writing, web design, and other categories...

GravyTrain: Are there any tips anyone can give me, as to how they, or anyone they know successfully found freelance work. What kind of freelance work are you looking for? If we know more about your skills we might be able to offer even more specific advice.
All the Best,
Mark

GravyTrain Make sure you look for a work at home job that does not offer outrageous income claims, also make sure they have a physical address, and that great training and support is offered.

Mark_Worthen Hi Mark, My name is Maria Galloway from Southern California and I desperately want to join Carbon Copy Pro, however, would you suggest that I join and read all the material now and save the additional $1995 that I need to actually join? Due to the fact that I do not have the funds right now for the $1995. I have 4 kids and a low income so my monthly advertising budget would be pretty much relying on all the "free" ways to advertise. Please give me your opinion on starting and can I start through your site with CCP and what address can I find you at for CCP? Thank you so much, Maria

Hi Adrian,
I would get into network marketing if I were you. It doesn't matter if it is online or offline, find a good company and you will do well.

GravyTrain When you are looking for an online job make sure you check into the companies background, a quick google can tell you that, and make absolutley sure they have a physical address, also you must have great training and support available otherwise it is extremly hard to get going. You must also have a passion for what you are doing, this is the difference between success and failure. Take Care.

I would personally suggest freebie trading and writing articles. Demand Studios pay $15-30 per article and they pay twice per week. And Ehow is also very good.
I personally would not suggest MLM to anyone who cannot afford to spend money not only on the first initial start-up costs but also the advertising.
