cshakesby: happywife, Thanks for the input. I think i should most likely do something about hockey then. I guess its just going through my head weird on how i would do it. Its extremly hard to just write about hockey and how to play it, but if theres a will there is a way. I bet i can also just do a site on the rules of hockey and why certain things are called and when.
I know what you are saying, but once you get started, you'll see it isn't as difficult as you think. The keywords people are searching for will dictate to you what you need to write. You don't have to come up with it on your own out of thin air.
The problem is im still over whelmed. I have all these ideas in my head, but i dont know where to start. Obviously I want to start somewhere easy so that i can get more experience. I dont want to start with the tough stuff first and just fail and then want to give up. Theres just so many things i could do im lost. I mentioned in my post that i could do something about hockey, but i dont see how i can make any kind of money on it. Im personally a private instructor for hockey and its nearly impossible to teach someone how to play just by reading articles. The best way is by private lessons. Now i could very well be wrong, but its just hard to do something that I dont have faith will be successful. Theres no harm in trying, but i dont know. Like i said im overwhelmed and just a huge mess right now lol.
Have you read the free Affiliate Masters Course? It was hugely helpful to me when I was starting out. I couldn't figure out either how I would manage to make money with what I knew about.
When I started with SBI, I used their brainstorming tool to help me determine what would be the best niche topic for me to start with based on really good keyword research and checking into the various monetization methods. They take you through the whole process step by step so that you make the right decisions if you follow their "guidelines."
Even if you only try them their risk free one month trial, it would be long enough for you to determine your niche concept and get a good idea of the direction you need to go.
cshakesby: happywife..i forgot to ask you before...is your site on chocolate candy still running? if so could you send me the link to it so that i can check it out?
Yes, my chocolate-candy-mall(dot)com site is still going strong, but I ran out of room in my signature. Just put the usual www. at the beginning.
Blessings, Angie

Hi Shake,
You're welcome. Yes, W.A. is one of the best programs out there and I'm confident that it's worth the monthly payments. You can always cancel after absorbing things for 3-4 months. It's foundation is relatively aggressive and lends itself well to monetizing upon trends.
Honest Riches and Profit Lance are good if you don't want monthly payments.
But S.B.I. is more along the lines of my own philosophy - long term thinking without rushing as the foundation. You'd be in excellent hands if you signed up under Angie.
If you haven't done the free 30 Day Challenge, I suggest you start there. You should also read from a few free online marketing sites for a while and dig through some of the previous threads right on this forum.
You'll learn quite a bit that way for free and will be better informed when it comes time to spend money on a program.

Well I can say for me I had to just jump in. Like you I was trying to work it all out before hand. That hurt my head to much, so I just started with my first idea. Got a domain, put up a website and just started working on it and it started to evolve naturally.
I will echo some ideas from above - I started to broad - focus on one thing - hockey. You know it and you can write about it. This way your energy can go into learning all the other things about an online income building business and you do not have to "learn" about the topic for your content. Then latter you can branch out.
good luck

Here is a thing: a lot of new people in the Internet Marketing anticipate a lot of problems working with the ClickBank based on the assumption that it takes a massive effort to promote just one item from the list.
It used to be true, because in order to generate any traffic to the product or to get an exposure on the Internet it would take a few month of SEO and all kinds of tricks before you would get to the top of Google search.
I just started working with the ClickBank and the main tool that I use is a video-file submission. It gets me to the top of the Google first page organically in a matter of a few days (if the long-tail niche is within a few hundred thousand search results), there is an affiliate link in the description of each movie or a slide show (meaning you don't even have to set up a website for the product) and it takes only an hour to create a video-file. Automated submission to most of available video submission websites and pod cast sites is a click of a button.
So, basically, to try one product and to see if it sells or not takes just a couple of hours of work. The video stays out there forever without any maintenance or pay per click kind of monetary requirements.
"Forever" in this case means this: if the product sells OK you got yourself an infinite source of income, that does not need any support or attention at all! Ever!
If you want your expenses to be absolutely zero, you can submit everything manually, it might take a few hours or a couple of days per one video-clip, but the result will be, probably, the same.

cshakesby: If i do the online poker i have a few ideas of what i could put up there, but im afraid it will be very bland. The troble with poker sites is that there are a lot of very good sites out with all the diffrent bonus and freeroll games and one site I am on thay even pay you for posting on the forum.
