Hi there

I wonder if anyone can help. Recently purchased the Profit Lance system. It seems very informative but not as easy to follow as I thought. I am not at all technical. So although I grasp the overall concepts on internet marketing - it is the technical aspects that have me stumped.

I have an adsense account and want to put ads onto one of the websites built for me by profit lance - not one of the ones they have already set up to be hosted but one that I have paid for hosting for myself.

Working through the adsense system I have been given a code to copy and paste into my website. How do I do that? I can use the copy and paste facility - but how do I get into the website to be able to paste?

Anybody help?

As you said, you have to do it by copy paste method.

Login to your ftp account provided by the hosting company. Design webpages with .html or .htm extension. During design copy the adsense code in your web site. Once you are done copy the files you have designed and move it to the ftp. Thats it.

For home page the file should be index.html.

If you use wordpress, you no need to copy code and paste. It is like a template. You login, paste the code where it is necessary and you click publish.

PM, me if you need help !

Hi Debbiann - welcome by the way.

Samuel is right - if you are using wordpress or a blogger template, they have widgets or gadgets where all you need to do is copy and paste it in the right place.

Like with blogger, they have an adsense thingie and it is way cool for people like me... I wish other places made it that simple... but it is forcing me to learn more about html... sigh

The ftp is a bit more confusing ... unless you are way more techy than I am but then most people are - lol !

You can login to your hosting account, there should have some system that allow you to amend the html directly.

Another way is like what samuel said.
Download your html files locally into your pc.
Copy and paste the adsense to the position you want in the html files.
Then upload back to your hosting account.
