Something doesn't sound quite right. It kinda sorta looks legit, and then again, it kinda sorta doesn't seem so legit.

No upfront money is required so if it sounds like something you want to do, further investigation is required. Have you checked out the company? You can research public records to find out more. I agree with getagrip. It sounds kinda sorta........But you never know, the world is changing rapidly and there may be something to this offer. Just be careful - if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, it is probably a duck.

I did google it but haven't much of anything besides this post and another job listing. I even searched the tax id they gave me. I have a weird feeling here so anything anyone can tell me would be appreciated.

Hey,
Did you ever find out if this was a scam? I sent my resume to someone named "Mark Bouge" on Craigslist for a "Book-keeper" position. I freaking out a little because, my resume has my home address, phone number, etc. Please, please get back to me.
Thank you,
Hopeful

Hi Jilleinne. I responded to this ad and was instructed to speak to "samsungmobileusadesk" on Yahoo Instant Messenger for details about the position and the conversation went like this:

Linda Cox: Hello
BUZZ!!!
BUZZ!!!
homeplate12345: Hi there!
Linda Cox: How you doing?
homeplate12345: Doing well, how about yourself?
Linda Cox: Great
homeplate12345: Well, I was instructed to IM you about the job offer that Samsung is offering. Do you mind sharing more details with me about it?
Linda Cox: good
Linda Cox: Its a work from home position with samsung mobile and you can work from any location in the Unted State
Linda Cox: any more question?
homeplate12345: I do feel skeptical about it being a work-from-home job.. how does it work exactly?
Linda Cox: if you think its skeptical it beter you left the job
homeplate12345: What do you mean?
Linda Cox: Thats what i meant
Linda Cox: quit
homeplate12345: Well I do have some other positions that I am taking into consideration, but I will certainly keep this in mind. Thank you for your consideration.
Linda Cox: I dont like when people talk bad about thisa job
Linda Cox: there are lots of scam and i know that
Linda Cox: but it has got noting to do with ours
Linda Cox: understood
Linda Cox: if you are really interested in working then no problem
homeplate12345: No thanks.

So this obviously seems like a scam. I had a weird feeling about this in the first place because of the poor grammar and misspellings riddled throughout the ad, as well as our conversation. My advice.. stay away!

Hope this helps!

Yeah this is a scam....... i have been there and been burnt one to many times but you can be sure this is a scam. There are some legit jobs out there but sadly you have to sieve through the rubbish to get to the diamonds.

Hope something comes up that helps you! Good Luck

Hmm, just strikes me as odd that they'd trust people to accurately report their own hours of work... How would they ever know you weren't overstating your hours?

Or maybe I didn't read that correctly...

My friend, make a research for this company. It seems a good opportunity, but take care. And good luck.
