Ugly affiliate links. How do I change?

Hello all
Does anyone know where I can learn how to change the long long affiliate links into something more manageable? Also to hide affiliate id?

Do you use html? <a href=" URL"> TEXT LINK HERE </a> usually works - but once I submit this it may come out all wrong so will see..

ahh.... it worked - just make sure you put the http://www.your url in between the "'s...

You can cloak your affiliate link using some cloaking tools.
This way you can hide your affiliate link.

Hello lemonpoof, you can create a subdirectory in your domain this way:

http://yourdomain/recommend/whateveryourecommend

and inside this subdirectory

put an index.php

the content of this index.php is:

<?php
header("Location: affiliatelink");
?>

an example could be:

http://cdanca.com/recommends/SpamArrest
