I just wanted to take a little time and tell everyone "thank you" for the advice and information you all have shared with me. On and off for the last three years I have been seriously to semi seriously searching for a way to build a career online.
Almost 8 years ago I broke my neck in a car accident, which left me in a wheelchair. I rehabilitated myself to independence and even learned how to drive the car again, But the hardest thing for me was trying to find a job/career without going back to school for a substantial amount of time. Well I am 40 years old and in a wheelchair so when most employers see me coming they start thinking about how they are going to basically tell me I haven't got a chance! it's unfortunate but it's a fact of life and obviously things happen for a reason.
So that brings me back to searching for a career that I can do from my laptop at home or anywhere(because actually I wouldn't mind doing some traveling) I tried doing a Google search for just about every work at home type job trying different phrases and things like that, and always ended up with the endless list of get rich quick sites. I don't know why I didn't search for work at home forums (I guess I'm just not that smart) a long time ago but this forum was the first one I decided to click on and from what I have seen of the few forms I looked at this one is by far the best. The people on here seem to make it a point to help the new people (it looks like there are a lot of moms in this forum so that must be it! lol) get started and answer any questions they have no matter how stupid they are because I'm sure I'll be asking a few whoppers before long.
I just wanted to say I am happy to have found this forum and grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.

Welcome Michael! I am so glad you found us here... and thank you for sharing. That is what we are all about - just simple folks with very real lives, struggles and victories. 
It is one of my favorite places to hang out as well.

Michael, you have had an incredible journey. I enjoyed reading about it.
I also love this site. I don't post a lot but I do read a lot. There is great information on this forum.

What a great post!
I have always felt very comfortable here.
This really is a great gathering place.
One thing which stands out for me is when I see someone asking if a program is legitimate, the guidance from this community is superb!

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place to learn, ask questions and get very good answers.

A warm warm warm WELCOME!!!!! Great to have you on board. It's really the people that make any forum, and this forum has a lovely group of nice people all helping one another. I can already see that even with such an inspiring story now, as you achieve this new goal you are setting out towards, it will develop even further.
