greenion My best education is what i have learned now, i wish i could have found the knowledge sooner, but its never to late. These are my top 3 tips for anyone starting, and you will be successful.
1 Have a passion for what you are doing, this will be the difference between success and failure.
2 Make absolutley sure you have the proper training and techniques to follow, otherwise you will not no were to start
3 Make sure you treat your new home business like a job, do not let yourself get side tracked, have a set time to do certain things with no distractions.

I am awestruck by the ability of Chris Farrell to teach technophobes with massive mental blocks
(me)
...And by what he gives away for free

My #1 lesson is to be persistent. You encounter all types of stuff which makes you uncomfortable, which it turns makes you want to quit. Don't do it! Keep going. Things improve for the online entrepreneur who keeps going in the face of uncomfortable circumstances.
With a firm goal in mind you can reach it if you continue towards it on a daily basis.
I knew nothing about running an online biz before I started with this stuff. I was 100% ignorant. I made plenty of mistakes but eventually learned from each one. I picked up ideas from wise mentors and continued to make errors in the school of hard knocks. Had I not screwed up I would have remained comfortable, and when you're comfortable you have no idea what the word "Drive" means. Without Drive, you can't be persistent.

ThirtyDayChallenge.com and Mike Dillard are good...but find a business opportunity that involves PERSONALLY mentoring you. That is in essence like having an "instructor" there to guide you. Many MLMs offer you a sponsor above you, but they don't often have a real incentive to help you with commissions being so low. I recommend looking for an opportunity with the mentoring along with a high ticket affiliate item.
My company offers mentoring and high level training along with a high ticket item...if ever I have a question, or need help, my mentor is a click or call away. If I drop out, (which I would be crazy too), my mentor not only loses residual automatic income, but no longer profits a huge amount from my sales. Best thing though, the CEO of our company is always available to answer any questions personally as well!
Not tooting my company just trying to share that there are great companies out there that do really care about their members. As long as you are succeeding and helping others reach their goal as a result of the training from your mentor, you know you are in the right opportunity. IMO!
This piece of advice here is for the general reader as this doesn't necessarily fall into the topic's original question: It may take some time, but just do your research on each and every company you are thinking about, and see if you can speak to that persons sponsor as well. Take charge of the conversation and ask as many questions as you can. Lastly, go with your gut - you'll be surprised how right on it is!

It would HAVE to be writing articles. The main thing that is just branded into my skull is: "Write articles, post them, write articles, post them." I didn't even write this many research papers in school lol!
