That's eBay.
I know some people are really fond of the autosurfs and HYIPs. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but they seem to always collapse right after I join. I realize that this is not the case for everyone, but it's way too risky for me to throw any more money into.
I've been looking for a way to make money for being lazy for years now, but I always come back to the only sure thing I know of... and that's eBay. I think that everyone who is looking to make money from home should try eBay, because it's somethign that everyone can do with proper training, patience, and determination.
Would recommend it highly, as its my primary source of income.

I've never tried eBay before but I hear that it's a great place to get traffic to your website.
Maybe I should give it a try someday.

I've only made a couple of bucks here and there on eBay. Nothing big. My biggest problem is knowing what to sell. I mean, where am I supposed to get cheap products that will sell well? Any ideas? Experiences?

There's another thread that talks about eBay, but sorry, I can't recall where it is at the moment.
eBay is good, if you have products that you know will sell and you're not paying for extra things like extra pictures, highlighting your items, etc. The basic cost for a 'store' is about $9 a month, though that may have gone up since I last sold anything.
Finding something to sell is more difficult. But, a little research and patience is the ticket. There are 'eBay for Dummies' books out there that will answer your questions and guide you through the entire process.

You are very lucky if you are able to make Ebay work for you... I know several people that have tried it in the past and don't end up making much of anything!
It definitely is all in what and how you market...

It is especially difficult to sell new items at a profit since people expect to find bargains. So you will have to source products from places like China and sell in the States.
I only sold my second hand goods on eBay and found it very usefull for this purpose. I sold a few items from an electric motor for a model plane to a car: Jaguar XJ6 
p.s. I found Amazon a good place to sell my second hand books if that is any help to somebody.

I've never been able to find a good source for buying products at a low cost - that's been my problem. I've sold plenty of items from around the house but nothing to create good income. Any ideas on getting low cost products to sell?

The one and only problem with E-Bay is this: It is way too big. Yes, you will, lemme rephrase that.. you MAY get alot of people to visit your ad, but then at the same time, those same people are looking for the lowest priced item as well.
And, being that E-Bay has grown Exponentially over the last several years, the Sellers have grown equally exponentially. Pick a product, any product.... let's say, ahh... commercial just came on.. .The Ionic Breeze by Sharper Image.
I will guarantee that if you do a search for Ionic Breeze on E-Bay, you will find over 500+ ads for it... Let's check it out...

Way too Oversaturated. Unless you can make something craftyish, or are willing to make about $.05 per sale, E-Bay is out, IMHO

What do I get if you are wrong? I ran a search from your link here and came up with 436 items found for Ionic Breeze at 156 a.m. est on oct 10. Which is considerably less than 500. 12.8% to be precise. I have great results from selling various things on ebay from time to time and even better results buying.... exponentially. LOL
