I'm thinking of starting a small business on the side of my other business. There are so many people wanting to start their online store (with their own domain). So I want to give them an affordable alternative to Yahoo store.

I would charge about $100 per year to setup my customer's shopping cart incl. web hosting, domain name (www . yourshop . com), backups, maintenance and promotion.

That would not include web design (customers can use the default design). If they do want to have a unique design, it will cost a bit more.

Is there a demand for this or is it something not worth trying?

There is a lot of demand for e commerce stores, but also a lot of competition . If you know some offline businesses it helps
