Does anyone know about becoming a distributor for office furniture companies out of your home? Is it worth while? Any suggestions where to look for oppertunities? Any info is much appreciated.

If I were you, I would do an internet search on Google for more information. It sounds doable, but it also sounds expensive and risky. You have to figure out where to keep your inventory. You have to go out there and make sales to people who need office furnature. You have to compete with places like Office Depot and Wal Mart as well, and you will have to have A LOT of money to buy office furnature. My conservative guess is that it will cost you AT LEAST $1,000 to get off the ground - that's with the assumption that you can get 20 office furniture pieces at $50 each, to sell at a marked up price. If you can't find a buyer (or buyers), you would be out $1,000...and you won't be able to purchase 1 or 2 office furniture peices at a time, because you have to purchase in bulk to get who sale prices. Sounds really risky to me...
