Everybody has their own opinion. All I will tell you is you don't have to spend a lot of money to make a lot of money. You just have to find the right program, leadership and compensation plan for you. I have been a member of a lot of different programs over the years with different levels of success and here is how I examine a program:
1. Leadership-will I have the personal support and training I will need to become successful? What tools do they offer? What kind of training do they have? What does this sponsor have to offer that maybe another doesn't?
2. Program-I have to believe in a program offers value to all parties involved. I will not enter a transaction unless it benefits everyone. Questions to ask..Am I passionate about this project? Is this project a benefit to people? What will people gain from being involved in this project?
3.Compensation- What is the start up? Is there a monthly fee I will have to pay? Is it a one up or two up? What is the bonus structure?
Knowing the answers to all of these questions will help you gain a greater understanding of what kind of business to become involved in. I market more than one opportunity so I have made better decisions when selecting a new venture.
Best of luck in your search and I hope this helps.

Probably if you pooled 100 people, you'd get 100 different answers about what home business is best. We're all unique individuals. I believe the best home business is one that pays you the money you think you're worth doing what you like to do. The question is how do you find that? For me I found that I didn't want a job, instead I wanted a business. But I didn't want to have to re-invent the wheel. Find someone or some program that will give you the steps to be successful and then follow those steps. You'll have a pretty good chance then to get some great results.

Any business you can put on autopilot is a business for me. Check into the energy market its doing just as well if not better than the health market

Any business that you can start on the internet is the easiest. This is purely my opinin based on my experiences. Also, the thing I would definitely look for is how much it costs to start up business. That is the real key!

I started with a Plugin profit site.
Free website, autoresponder with 400 day emails, choice of 6 affiliate programs to join and promote and most importantly - 30 day step by step training.

We all have opinions on what works best for us and some of us are very happy with what we have found and some are still looking.
I would look for something in business over 5 years, good products, excellent customer support, good leadership with the group you sign up under if it is Cooperative Marketing, MLM or Affiliate marketing, a physical office and join directly rather than through third parties. Also, google them and check for complaints in the past to see how their reputation stands up in the industry.

Look for someone who will support you and train you rather than looking at the business first. With the right coaching and help the business is not the most important part of the process the person who wuill help you to succeed is the most important part of the link.

If you have the time, diversifying is best. Try to get into many different revenue streams that require little of your time. No matter what anyone tells you, your time is the most valuable assest you have. Choose a business that almost runs itself and has backup support just in case you need it.

Good Afternoon,
I'm not going to the be the first to tell you this, but there are a million and one ways to make money from home online and offline. You simply need to find something that you have a passion for. Even more importantly, you need to understand the WHY. Why are you interested in creating your own home based business?
Once you've determined this there are 3 secrets that will help lead you to success.
Secret #1: Mindset: You have to re-wire your thinking. Take steps to move from an employee mentality to one of an entrepreneur. You must establish your worth; your own financial thermostat. And remember, you will NEVER earn more than you think you are worth. Having this "entrepreneurial" mindset is crucial to your success.
Secret #2: Marketing: Marketing is a variable that EVERY entrepreneur MUST solve, at least if that entrepreneur wants to succeed. Leave out effective marketing and you'll watch as your bottom line plummets!
Secret #3: Mission: Simply put, if you're going to succeed as an entrepreneur and obtain the things in life you want, you're going to have to have a mission or game plan on how you're going to get there. You'll find the sooner your mission is clearly defined the sooner you'll see success.
I hope these little tidbits are helpful and I wish you success! Have a great day!

I think rather than trying to work with a company that only offers one product line if you are truly interested in working for yourself find a company that can teach you how to do that with any product or service. This way your passion for your area will sustain you through all of the hard work.
There are a few companies that can help you develop your own business idea through extensive yet easy to complete research, help you to easily design and get traffic to a good looking site, and help you to actually monetize this site. Also a great support system is a must.
Good luck with your venture.

if you want to start a home based business, find a niche or area of expertise you are really good at. Some examples of work at home jobs include: Sales, surveys, writing assignments, data entry, accounting, programming, computer work, translation, research, mystery shopping, typing jobs, customer service.
So, figure out what you'd be good at, and then test several programs within that niche to see what works best

It's amazing how many opportunities there are now to work from home - I must admit it's great as you can work when you want to.
If you go for your own website look at getting a package which includes all the training and back up.
For your business to be successful you need the customers to visit and buy from your site and with a tutor 'holding your' hand every step of the way it's surprising how quickly you learn.
