How Members are Ranked

Unlike many forums where members are ranked depending on the number of posts made, in this forum, members are conferred specific status (Silver, Gold, Platinum) based on the following criteria:

Quality of Posts: Majority of posts made by the member should offer real value and not just involve mere participation in discussions. This is the single most factor that'll decide the upgrade of a member status.

Demeanor: Member must not use offensive, foul language and must respect and be kind to other members.

Frequency: How frequently or regularly the member participates in forum discussions. While this is not a mandatory critera, posting infrequently will only delay the upgrade.

Topicality: The number of forums a member participates in. While a member may get a Silver status even if he/she sticks to a particular forum, not following this critera may hinder further upgrades.

Assistance to Admin: Reporting bad posts and helping the Admin/Moderator in keeping the forum clean.

Note: Please note that upgrades are not permanent. If a member is found to abuse the status or violate forum rules, he/she will be downgraded immediately.
