I have read that more women are network marketers or direct sales associates than there are men. Could it be that one of the traits of network marketers is that they are good communicators, meaning good listners, hence they communicate better with prospects? Let me know, would i be better served putting more marketing emphases on women than on men?

I believe women love the social aspect, while men love the challenge
of network marketing

I think women like the idea of working from home coupled with the social aspect of business. They (women) are more communicators than we are. They tend to be trusted more and easier to do business with.

I heard that 85% of the people in Network marketing our women, but women only make up 3% of the top money earners.

Why they are not the majority of the top money earners, I'm not sure, but apparently they do like the business of networking. Maybe SOME women are just not as much into the actual business building so to speak but the social aspect of it and helping others.

Can you give us the source? I always believe men are good marketers when compared to women.

I will have to disagree with most of the posts here. I believe that individuals be it man or woman are blessed with certain skill sets they have devevloped and neither is better at Netwok Marketing than others.

The reason I say this is there are many successful male and female Network Marketers in the world and none of them are the same. They are all unique human beings in their own right that have learned how to interact and offer value to their teams and people in general.

There are women in the industry that aren't very social as there are men. It all depends on the individuals life experiences and background which determines their level of communication and skill. With that said everyone has the ability and the God given talents to learn the important skills needed to succeed in this wonderful industry.

Really depends on the situation. There are a lot of men who are successful and ther are a lot of women that are successful - so it really isn't a matter of what sex you are, but what skills you possess.

No one can measure the heart of a person. The key is desire and passion, not the sex.

Statistically speaking you are right - there are far more women in Network Marketing than there are men. Maybe it's due to the "working from home" aspect, who knows....

Whether you choose to market to women or men, communication is important and learning how to communicate is a skill than can be mastered. All you need is the right coach.

There is a smaller percentage of women who earn high income's in traditional business because there are less opportunities for women in corporate America. Network Marketing levels the playing field.....

Everyone has the same opportunity!

It really isn't a matter whether you are men or women. It's whether you've the determination of wanting to be successful or not.

I believe it really doesn't matter it's all up to the individual person. If they want to be successful the sex doesn't matter. If they take action and have great mentors, they will be just fine. This industry is all about self-development. It's a self-development program with a compensation plan included.

There is more women due to the Work from Home aspect of network marketing. Network Marketing gives many moms a chance to stay at home and raise their kids while building a very successful income.

In our marriage I am the risk taker where my wife likes security. However she is much more out going than I am.

I continually ask her for help.

This is an interesting topic with some great observations. I agree here Ginger that communication is all important and is a skill which can be mastered.

We as network marketers should be asking ourselves, Am I a good communicator?, followed by the REAL question: Am I a good communicator? We have a lot riding on that answer.

Typically and historically in MLM, most people approach the business with a sales mindset instead of understanding what their potential prospects are truly searching for; solutions to problems.

If you can communicate the benefits of your product whilst considering the other person's point of view, you're much more likely to get their attention, trust and ultimately the sale.

Tomorrow, before you go out there with guns blazing to try to persuade somebody to do something, pause and ask yourself how you can get the other person to want to do it. That question will probably save you a ton of time and energy from talking about what you want instead.

Try it - you'll be amazed what a difference it makes.

Hi Guys,

Driven people make better network marketers.

Stats prove that someone with a fire in their belly succeeds.

People who use excuses like thinking that a certain demographic is more successful than others - like men or woman - usually wind up failing.
