Yes a prospect doesn't joins your company. Why let him go? Take his email and contact him in say 3 or 4 months or when you receive a heavy cheque from your company. It works many times.
Happy Sponsoring
P.S - Email has a higher response rate in this case

That is a good point. You can follow up with them in a few months.

yes follow up with him or her with a different opportunity. Some people take awhile to join something. Maybe the timing wasn't right for them. but they will forget so you need to follow up every once in awhile to keep the opportunity fresh in their mind. People don't usually join the first time around anyway. Maybe they don't have the money or time or whatever the reason and maybe they will later.

Bless and Release. That is something I learned early on. Don't let the No's get you down. You are just there to provide the information requested and then bless and release. If they are really interested they will let you know, otherwise just say Next and move on to the next person.

I spent the last 7 years in direct sales coaching people starting their own MLM businesses. I always advised recruiters to think of no as (not now). At the same time, it doesn't hurt to ask the person if you can check back with them at a later date.

I would suggest building 2 lists: A prospect list and a follow up list.
Anyone you contact that doesn't join you should put in your follow up list. I would recommend using a PDA, cell phone, or your email calendar to remind you when to contact them again.
I would hope you know what to do with the prospect list
A no is definitely not a no forever!

If they do not join your business who cares. There are a million other people out there looking for income generating activities, YOU just have to make sure you have that constant flow of leads to be successful. Have others market for you or use a call center to weed out the true seekers from the lookie lous and the wannabees. " Some will, some wont, who cares, NEXT"

Generally what happens sometimes the prospect has to see you again and again to get familiar with you and to be comfortable with you. And Emailing him regularly is a way to do that.

I agree with adding them on facebook. You can always send out periodic messages about a business milestone. If they see your success(and perhaps their own situation changes)-they may "see it".

I think that often when a prospect doesn't join, it's because we haven't built enough of a relatinoship. So, there are a couple of things I'd suggest. First, let them know that it's okay to say no. Perhaps also offer them a product sample on the condition that you'll speak again a week or two for feedback. Maybe they'll be a customer. Second, I totally agree to add them on facebook and wherever else. Keep in touch, build the relationship. I've had people join my business where I first presented to them 10 months ago. Keep in touch and follow up later - but do not push them to do the business.

I think you need contacts prospect until he unsubscribe, because some people need time to make decision, some people come online after several month, some people just opt-in everywhere and don't remember that and many other things may effect that he don't join.
I like to search on google with my prospects email adress, sometime you can find good info about the prospects and it is important.
pospects email domain name important too.

The bad side of MLM recruiting includes:
- exaggerated income claims
- hyped up claims for product effectiveness
-pressure to "get in now" or miss out - an obnoxious, in your face recruiting approach
