Is anyone here a member of Livewire Research? To take their surveys you have to give them your Social Sercurity number. Any opinions? Just thinking about giving them a try.

Haven't heard of Livewire Research but if they are going to pay you they need your SS# or that other Tax id # for businesses, (can't remember what it's called) but if you are an individual, (not a business) and you want to get paid, at least BEFORE you get paid on a REGULAR basis, you will most likely have to give them a SS#. I have tried a few survey programs - made a little, not a lot.

I have taken their surveys and been paid by them. Yes I gave them my SS# since I know they are legitimate and my information is safe with them. Of course give it or not is totally up to you.
Another survey site that requires SS# is Harvard Business School CLER lab which is also legit and safe.
Those are the ONLY TWO survey sites require SS# that I know of.
