Hey folks. Just wanted to to let you know. I started doing online surveys last night after finding this forum and after seeing the advice from all of you I started out using the list from Happygal's blog thing.
Anyways, last night I got signed up for about 12 sites. I've already made $12 from various sites. I don't expect that to be a daily thing of course but even if thats per week right now, it would be great.
Thanks to all who help just by posting your advice on here.

All I've been doing is going down your list Happygal. Today I have around $25 dollars already. Now of course that hasn't been sent to me yet. Most of the is from getting money just to sign up.
I told my wife I'd be happy just to get $10 this month. So we'll see what happens.

You know, it's hard for any one person to say which sites are the best as it's all about demographics. For instance, some of the sites send out tons of surveys for people who work in IT. I don't, so I don't tend to make a lot of money with them, but others would name them as their top choice. The best thing to do with surveys is to sign up with several (as many as you can) legit sites and see how they match with who you are.

That's good news Select20. Just wait until you get an odd survey for that amount on it's own. Doesn't happen all the time but i seem to get an odd high paying survey about once a month, and i am not in any highly experienced demographic or anything. I guess sometimes youcan just get lucky.

I tried doing surveys for money and found that after filling them out, they would tell me, in one way or another, that I was not right for it. I also got upset with the ones that give you bonus points toward prize contests.
Did anyone else run into this? Can you give me any sites that are for real.

Sure Saralin, there are tons of sites that are for real. I keep a list of all the ones that have actually paid my on my blog.
