PavelBecker:
We think "I failed at this thing, therefore I have to stop doing it", when the lesson should be "I made a mistake, from which I will learn and continue trying."

Hi Pavel,

I whole-heartedly agree with that point (and the whole post).

I love the story of how an inexperienced writer/actor was turned down by movie producers more times than most of us would even contemplate attempting (can't quote the exact figure from memory). After his wife left him (got fed up of nagging him to get a "proper job"), and he lost his home and his loyal dog, and while sleeping outside movie maker' offices at night, he then managed to get his self-penned screenplay through the door of one producer who said, "Okay Mr Stallone, we'll use 'Rocky'!"... and the rest is history.

Never, ever, ever give up!

Darren

Great post Pavel and so so true. Persistence, patience, self motivation among others are desperately needed to make any business succesful. Anyone who does not possess these qualities may as well give up, harsh but true.

I hope this is useful or not far out of the thread:

We think we have to stay committed "until" we conquer all our challenges and "until" we reach success.

But challenges are "always" there even if we already reached success.

Maybe it's better to think that we should always move forward and up and stay committed forever.

I'd like to emphasize on this because people tend to relax too much after reaching temporary success.

It takes a lot of patience and persisitence in anything, in life, to become successful. This means that we have to keep at it and keep going, toward whatever the goal is, no matter how hard or boring it may be at times.

This is something that needs to be remembered during times of success, as well as during the difficult times.

Very true. Its hasuccessful2008

great post michelle. I am new on online marketing, and more so than a traditional business, its so overwelming. There is just such a massive amount of info about how to make money online, that it can be a constant click to click form link to link until all day has passed and you realize youve learned nothing and are more confused than when you started.
