About RobinInCarolina's post.

I read "The Secret" as well and believe that it's working for me. Instead of a picture, you could substitute with daily affirmations. That truly get's me into the mindset that I can, I have and am currently achieving all of my goals.

Marktech:
think putting up a picture of a wolfpack to remind me of the wolves howling outside my door has helped me get motivated.

I like this quote. I picture the wolves as being the debt collectors at the door. LOL.
This whole concept stems from attraction marketing. It works really well when done correctly. It basically gets you to picture yourself as already being successful. When you think positively in this way it does something to your subconcious and eventually, the pieces of the universe come together and create what you have invisaged.

If you haven't already read "The Secret" I highly reccommend you do so now, even if you don't really believe in that sort of thing, it's a real eye opener.

Has anyone here tried creating a dream board?
I started one when I first got involved with my company.

All you do is get a board, then everytime you see something you want, link in a magazine or catalogue, cut it out and stick it on there. Put anything on there you want, even if it is out of your own reach for now.

I make a new board every year. It's so fun to see things get crossed off as you earn them. I looked back over one from a few years ago and realised I now have several things on there that I never dreamed I would ever get when I created the board.

Very Cool. I think the success of working at home has a LOT to do with positive reinforcement, and even better when it comes from your supervisors boosting you up! ALWAYS that back up support counts and makes you feel like family. Very valuable...

It's good to paste the photo on which you do believe and that differs from person to person.

I'm not sure if you guys have ever heard of the movie, but there's a great documentary out there called "Touching the Void".
Its about a pair of mountain climbers who endure unimaginable circumstances and its based on a true story so its pretty intense.

My point being, after seeing the movie we hung little cards all over the house that said "What would Joe Simpson Do?". If you check the movie out you'll see why its a great motivator not to quit no matter what!
