I was reading the article on how to cloak one's link. It is one of those things I've been meaning to get to. Anyway, for some reason I followed Mike's instruction, but it did not work. So, I am searching around for other ways. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

The other thing, I do not quite understand, is how others can steal your profits. Wouldn't they have to access your hoplink id via Clickbank to take your profits? As for the example Mike gave us, I don't see how this would protect our profits, cause you just need to look at the code of the redirect page - unless there is no way they could find/view this page?

I am wondering if I've been losing sales because of this.

I am going to do some more reading on this but any pointers would be appreciated.

thanks as always

Actually, I've now sorted my code so that the redirect is now working.

And I've actually found out how someone can take your profits, and how you lose sales.

For newbies who don't know this: if you don't cloak your link the user can see your ID and use their own or someone else's instead, or go straight to the source (hence my other question about using cookies).
