When you sign up for a free affilate website, is it a good idea to get the upgrade they offer? I don't won't to spend money if it's not a wise idea. Thanks

Don't upgrade immediately, wait for some time and see how things work out

Duck,

A lot of online marketing folks will give away a freebie just because they know that x percent of the freebie takers will pay for an upgrade.

This is called an upsell. It's a major OLM tactic. Keep that in mind whenever you accept a freebie. There is almost always an alterior motive behind it.

I agree with pcwork. Wait and see how well the free version works.

I personally wouldn't pay to become an affiliate for a company. You are promoting their business. That should be more than enough for them.

Just my thoughts on the subject.
