Hi Everyone,
Dreamcatcher here, still doing very well with PL, but now need to branch out with my own website. I've tried contacting Mike, but so far no response, sooooo asking the people in the know.

Give me pros/cons, of getting my own site? What to look for in a hosting site, what to call your domain and can you change names|?

I need details for enough info to make and informed decision.

Thank you for your time.

You should host your site with vodahost. They are really good and haven't had any bad experiences with them.

You should try to get a .com domain name if you can, but if not, you can buy a .info name from godaddy.com for around 2 dollars. You can change your domain name by using a 301 redirect, but try not to do that because it gets confusing.

i agree with makemoneyonline vodahost is a very good service and have used them in the past and would definitely recommend them in the future. Attached to vodahost is a web building tool called bluevoda very easy to use and get along with. As for you own website the main advantage is that you have so much flexibility with a website than you do wth free methods like blogs.

Dreamcatcher,

It's great to see you back again! I'm glad to hear that you are doing well with Profit Lance.

Since you asked directly, for web space, you can check out my sig link. It's the best deal on the net right now. Plus, it has tons of bells and whistles. I just started promoting it yesterday. Be my first sign up :)

Good luck,

I agree with pcwork... I use Microsoft Office Live to create my website. It was free when I ordered my Dell computer.

Free hosting comes with a price - usually ads. Plus taking a free site makes you look like a cheapskate amateur. You won't be able to project a professional image, thus little or no income.

I wouldn't touch free hosting with a 50 foot pole. Knock yourself out though, lol.
