Just wondering if anybody had used SiteBuildIt that Michael recommends. And, if you have, has it helped you monetize quicker or at all?

Hi. I use SiteBuildIt to build my sites. I don't know if it is the same program that Michael recommends. The program I use is by Sitesell. You can check the link in my signature regarding building a successful business to see if it is the same.

Anyway, I absolutely love it! I've been with them for just over a year and have built two sites so far (see my signature) and have another one in the works. I had zero internet experience apart from email, but their program and tutorials and action guide make the whole process quite simple for beginners - not easy because you still need to do the work.

If you have any more specific questions, just ask and I'll try to help.

Happywife, how many visitors do you get every day?

Currently, I am getting between 600-800 visitors a day to my chocolate site and between 30-60 a day to my insurance site (that one's my new one and is still in the building stage in a very competitive niche, so may take me a while to build my traffic).

I don't pay a cent for traffic or advertising so I am pleased with what I have so far.

I am building my site with SBI and am loving it...

- it is still work but they have all the tools in place and that is what I needed as I am not very 'html lliterate'...

Nothing is just going to 'happen' in our industry but I am happy with they offer - and happywife has been awesome with her tips and advice ....

Merry Christmas to all!

Hello Happywife,

I have not yet officially created a site using SBI because I am still developing an outline offline. So I am ignorant as to all of the tools that SBI offers, although I know they are plentiful. I am thrilled to hear how well your sites are doing and am now inspired to follow your lead. I'm setting a deadline of February 1st to have my first site up and running.

Happy New Year!!

Kalien

Good for you! Have you purchased your site package yet? If not, SBI is having a 2 for 1 special until midnight Jan. 4 (only a few hours left). Get it today and save your second site to start later in the year. You'll be kicking yourself otherwise.

Don't do all your research and outline etc., without these tools, if you are, in fact, planning to build with SBI. Their brainstorming tools will make the process so much easier for you and more effective. You'll go a lot farther faster when you have access to the tools.

I wish you tremendous success in 2008!

AMEN and AMEN - I got mine just before that special and you absolutely want to heed happywife's advice!

By the time you are halfway through the first site you will be rolling ideas around for the second site!!

Have fun!
