Things are rocking and rolling in Emerald Passport land. If you haven't noticed, the new simple system is really rocketing results. If you are looking for an oppty to market a product that has an actual value with a simple system anyone can utilize, and a compensation plan second to none, than you need to go through our simple system. I have been here two years for a reason, because Emerald Passport is constantly changing and striving to help its associates. Go through the steps you will put your prospects through. If you see value in the products, plan and compensation plan then great. It sounds too easy, and yes, there may be some making money with it.
BUT: anybody interested in Network Marketing should do one big thing before starting: due diligence.
Find out who is out there, and find out where NOT too much hype is.
Find products and/or services with little demand, but with potential for the years to come...

I cosidered joinig EPI a while back until I found a system where I didn't have to pass up any sales. I was able to make back what I put into the program on the very first sale I made. That was important to me because once you join a high ticket program like EPI and then put money into advertising, you will want to get money back into your hands quickly so that promote it even more. I've done 1 up and 2 up systems, but it just takes too long for the average jow to get into profit. Everyone has their choice, but I prefer a 0 up system where I can start earning A.S.A.P.
I think that many of these high ticket programs out are very awesome. They allow the little man a chance to get in an earn some serious commissions. Most low dollar programs out here are overrated. You spend $10 a month for the business opportunity and then you spend $100 on advertising. With high ticket items, you can get into profit a lot quicker.
Whether it be EPI, or any other high ticket program, just do some research and take really good notes. It doesn't matter how much a system cost either. The system could be a million dollars and there will still be someone to market it to. I think the most imporatnt thing is how soon you can get into profit. It will take an average joe a lot longer with a program like EPI to really get going because no money comes back to them on the first sale. An established marketer can be into profit very quickly if he/she has built up a reputable list.
There are many more competing programs on the internet now where you will have money back in your pocket from the first sale you make and also earn unlimited bonuses on each person you refer. This way, you can really start feeding your business. It's all about what the individual wants to promote though. If your heart ain't in it, you will be bound to fail anyway even if you're promoting a system where you don't have to pass up any sales.
Make sure your heart is in the program and beware of reverse marketers. They are everywhere now.

I completely agree with that statement.
You need to gain an education on how to make money online. It's not going to happen overnight.
You can't expect to gain a college education overnight and its the same with making money online.

Do not be mislead, when you spend the $1295 for the EPI product you ARE NOT BUYING THE PRODUCT YOU ARE RENTING THE PRODUCT!
How? well each year you have to renew your membership costing $99 otherwise you loose access to the product website.
Make sure you have ALL the information, just take my advice keep your money in your pocket and forget the hype of this company.

Like any other business, Emerald Passport requires work.
As for the real secret to the business not many people talk about... well, like anything else it comes down to the marketing.
So for people that don't understand the marketing, or expect to just buy leads, then you really want to develop the ability to close.
But if you understand marketing -- or work with a director who can teach you specifically how YOU can do marketing for youself -- then it becomes a simple business.
The more you focus on marketing, the more hoops you can get prospects to go through. The first hoop is the movie system. Let the system work and DISQUALIFY people so you don't end up talking to people who can't afford this business.
Personally, because of my background in internet marketing, I create a custom entry page and generate my own leads, which gives me a much higher closing ratio than most everybody else.
Marketing and Sales are like 2 kids playing on a teeter-totter. The less you know about marketing, the more you need to play the sales game, which is unfortunately a "numbers game." The more you focus on marketing, the less time you spend selling.
And the real goal is to develop those people into leaders.

I hope everyone is having a great fall season. Phones are ringing off the hook for many of us. More and more people are looking for a way to generate some serious income. I believe anyone can make money in this industry as long as they are committed, see value in their products and system, and consistently hone their skills. This industry sure is not easy, and it does take time to cultivate a business just like it would with any other business. You should only be researching companies if you are ready to get involved with a business. If you are looking for a lottery ticket or a 49.95 miracle you really should not be wasting your time. But if you are looking for a vehicle to create surplus or replacement income then you have to be ready to start your own business. The start up costs of home based businesses are so much less than what it would be to start a franchise or your typical brick and mortar business. THE ROI IS SO MUCH GREATER.
I have been with Emerald Passport for two years now. The reason I am here is the product. The value that they keep adding to it is great. They are coming out soon with a new module teaching kids a new way to learn. Sort of a hooked on phonics for learning strategies. Soon they will come out with a Spanish version of our great product. The ability to give someone a product guest pass before they buy the product is huge. We have nothing to hide and it is something that no other company will do. Emerald Passport has made our system now so much easier. It is a total streamlined 3 step process. People are really plugging in and the calls are packed.
In doing your due diligence on companies make sure you see products with value, a system you can see yourself doing, and a compensation plan that makes it worth your time. Most MLMs are not worth your time. Any program where you keep 100% of the profits is most likely a money game. They will get shut down like PAS did etc. You need to deal with high ticket items in direct sales to make money in this business. There are many companies out there but only a few of them will work if you do the work, the rest are just a waste of time. I hope everyone has a great fall. I have been reading about Emerald Passport for years on this site and have seen many negative as well as positive statements. For the record, I have been with Emerald Passport for close to 3 years. As with any business, it did take me a few months to get it up and running. After only 3 months in the business, my income began to exceed 15K on a regular basis. Why? Because it is real business, with great products, an impressive marketing system, and most importantly; support and training. I cannot begin to tell you how this has affected my personal life. I am now a stay at home dad who works about 3 to 5 hours a day, earning an executive income.
This business is not for the "get rich quick" crowd, but for honest, ethical, ordinary, average people like me.

Emerald Passport Not A Scam
OK -first of all I am not a member or associate of Emerald Passport (although I am an associate for a different and unrelated company) -just wanted to get that out of the way. I've been researching online or work-from-home business opportunites on the Internet for years and yes I've tried a couple myself.
The trend I notice on the Internet is that if something doesn't work - it's automatically labled a scam. This is especially true with MLM or Direct Sales type companines like Emerald Passport.
I guess it's human nature to find an explanation for our lack of success outside of ourselves - so it's easy to blame a company, a system or a product or service. Sometimes this is true but often, it's really us. Not everyone is cut out for this type of business. Sometimes the industry itself paints to rosy a picture and a lot of folks looking for home based businesses .. are really looking for "get rich quick".
Emerald Passport, is a case in point. In looking around on the net .. I've noticed several negative headlines - most of these are through paid or sponsored links. In clicking on them most never mention Emerald Passport at all - but simply pitch their "business opportunity".
I've looked at Emerald Passport and their "opportunity" - and didn't really see anything wrong or scamish (my word). They offer several digital products for self-improvement and wealth creation - nothing wrong with this.
From what I understand some or all of their products are proprietary - this is cool.
Look any opportunity should be checked out - but doing a google search or yahoo search is not enough. Remember any buiness requires time, effort and even money - some things really never change.

I get a lot of calls from people that ask me what makes a great business model and what should one look for when looking at all these companies out there. I think product is the main issue. If you are not marketing a product that you see value in or enjoy then the business probably isn't going to work with you. I think you also need to be involved in a Direct Sales model that markets high end products that have high profit margins. I firmly believe it is just as easy to sell at $1500 product than to sell a $50 product. The key is you must convey value. I think MLM is very hard to make a six figure income with. But it can be done, it just isn't for me. You need a down line of usually thousands to make it work. I also tell people to AVOID like the plague any program where you keep 100% of the profits. The FTC and SEC will eventually be all over that. That is nothing but a money game. It cannot be justified, you are admitting the products are worthless by selling them for the cost of commission the rep fully keeps.
I think a system is mandatory, and the simpler the better. This is Direct Sales and involves phone work, and posture. Just like anything else in life they are buying you along with your product and plan. So you better be in this industry for a long term commitment, and not just hoping for a quick fix. You must hone your skills in prospecting, lead generation, and posture. This all comes with experience. Some pick it up in months, some it takes years. Be prepared. And again your compensation plan must be lucrative enough where the person can see themselves actually earning realistic part time income in the foreseeable future.
I have picked Emerald Passport for numerous reasons. First of all is the product. I believe in the Web-education industry and I believe in teaching people information that should have been taught to us in high school and college. I love the fact we are the only ones in the marketplace that have a guest pass. We can show people the courses before they buy, opposed to some antiquated return policy. It is imperative they see value in the products before they join. I have been part of a couple companies where you get the product in the mail and you can't believe you spent 1500 for it. I love the fact we are able to add value to the product. The new course coming out this fall teaching parents new ways to help their kids learn will be huge. Our marketplace with this product is endless opposed to the other companies that are narrow focused say on personal development or travel etc. We have something for everyone, real estate, forex, negotiation, entrepreneurship, negotiation, etc. The product is practical and useable. I know I spent 2k for a poetry class in college and feel it was worth about 10 cents! The system here is also cookie cutter. Create the lead with a movie, act as a tour guide to inform ( all at one site) and then answer questions. No hard closes, no are you in or out routines. I believe in exposures and due diligence.
Again you can make money I believe with ANY business. Honestly most people though dont because they are sold on fast riches and not sold on longevity and commitment. The ROI though on these direct sales models can be massive compared to brick and mortar and franchises. 90% of restaurants fail, who wants to though put up 500k to make it work. Here the normal person has a much better shot. Now is the time of year to join ANY BUSINESS that can help make 2008 better for you. Plus its a tax write off for 2007!

So .. how long have you been with Emerald Passport? I like what you said in your post. I took the guest pass tour and was impressed with the products.
I also agree - that it can be just as easy to sell a $1500 product as a $50 one.
Do you know if Emerald Passport plans on any more products in the future?

Emerald Passport is coming out with a new product for children. It is being unveiled at the annual conference right now.
I will know more about it next week, but if you are familiar with the product online for "adults" the new product is going to have the same type of information geared towards children from 1st grade through college, with three different learning levels.
It's very exciting and what we all need for our kids.

2008 is getting off to a bang. I love this time of year. It is so easy to cultivate new business. Everyone is out there looking for a way to generate more money and have more time freedom. People are also looking to educate themselves in areas that will create cash flow for them in 2008. That is why Emerald Passport is the best opportunity in the marketplace.
We have the best products, practical products that teach and have tremendous value. A simple streamlined system, and an amazing compensation plan. We are the ONLY company out there that will allow the customer to view the product before they buy it. We have nothing to hide unlike SO MANY of the other companies out there with their bogus products.

You dont need your Director to help you make money! Anyone can do this business. The calls can teach you plenty. You just have to do the work , your Director cant do it for you. 2008 will be huge. Just go for it. If you havent seen our product yet feel free to ask me for a guest pass.
