Ok...you can join using 2Checkout if you don't have a Paypal account. Just go to the FAQ page at the top of the Wealthy Affiliate website, and then click on the 2Checkout link. Please note that there is a $2 monthly processing fee to use 2Checkout.

Getagrip,
You're my neighbor! I live in Carlsbad. Why would you ever want to leave our fair city?
Cindy

Well...most people think I'm crazy, but for me, San Diego is kind of a "been there, done that" kind of city for me. I grew up here, and then left in 1993, and since then, have spent most of my life in Nebraska.
Since 1993, San Diego has gotten A LOT more crowded, the rents have gotten a lot higher, and the traffic has gotten a lot worse - just trying to find a parking place at the mall can be a challenge at times - and of course, the parking spots are all really small to accommodate more cars!
Nebraska (Omaha) is a lot more affordable to live in, there's less traffic, most people always say hi to you when you walk past them, and I've got a lot more friends there....so, when the winter is over, I'm going back (God willing).

Hi James,
Yes, if you wish to cancel your membership it's just a matter of stopping the Paypal monthly payment.
All the best

Wealthy affiliate is great - more than worth the fee. Especially with SiteRubix thrown in now. I'm not a member any more as I cancelled all my memberships (was just paying out too much money per month), it's one I would go back to again in the future though.

Yes - WA has a great affiliate program that pays you monthly commissions. I wouldn't join JUST because of that reason, but it certainly is a nice perk!

Yep, just like Getagrip said, you get a commission every time you reffer someone to WA. For every refferal you recieve 14$ of commision, this means that each and every month that your referrals remain members you are paid $14.00 for each member.

I'm not sure about that, since i don't know any people that have actually left WA. Is it a money problem or are you afraid of a scam? Let me know.

I don't think you can get a refund, but its extremely rare for someone to even ask for one. Even people who leave Wealthy Affiliate almost always say good things about Wealthy Affiliate on their way out - just look at Lucky's post above.
Wealthy Affiliate only costs $29.99 a month - most college text books cost somewhere between $60 to $100, but the education you get at Wealthy Affiliate is a very small price to pay when you consider that you might eventually end up earning more money than most brain surgeons!

Actually a aliitle bit of both, but i'm getting quite convinced that maybe its not a scam as I havent found any negative reviews abt WA. Only concern I have is if I'm gonna dish out $30 a month, and the learning curve is 5 months with initial payback of $30... you know, something like that .
anybody? pls advise, thank you

Wealthy Affiliate is definately not a scam - it is quite common for new members to make forum posts and rave about how glad they are they found WA.
You are right - there is a learning curve - and it might take 5 months before you make any money, but you might surprise yourself and make money sooner than that. People make posts all of the time in the "General Success" section of the forum about making their first sale - or their first $1,000 month, etc...and you can confirm everything I just wrote after you have had a chance to read these kinds of posts in the Wealthy Affiliate forum, and come back to this forum and publically call me a liar if I have said anything that is not true.
Wealthy Affiliate actually has an 8 week action plan that will show you how to start making money online, but you can easily get through it in a week. Even if you do take the entire 8 weeks to get through the course, there are things you can implement every week so that you can earn money as you go.
And as Naturalis said, you can get a commission for referring others to WA - 2 sales a month will basically pay for your membership - and you earn commissions every month as long as someone remains a member. In short, Wealthy Affiliate will pay for itself if you play your cards right.

Thanks to all of you for your honesty and insight regarding the various IM programs available. I have spent over 15 hours researching different products and despite the fact that I do not particularly like the idea of a monthly fee on WA you all have convinced me that it is well worth it and have solidified my decision to join. Looking foward to chatting with you at WA and picking your brains as I am a newbie to this whole IM thing.
