Would like to know if anybody on here is truly a success at MLM and how long did it take yo? Thanks!
I started MLM when I was 17, and I am now 21.
I like to think of myself as successful? =].
It is my full time income.
The time is takes everyone is different. I also went through 2 companies in my learning phase before I discovered how to pick the right company for me.
I have been with this third company about a year now and it just keeps growing.
I don't think you will find a shortage of people having some success, however that may be defined, as their our several like Matt and myself that have and continue to do well. Now of course many haven't and that is for various reasons.
Network Marketing is a business that in the beginning can have ups and downs, and one just needs to focus and be consistent in their strategies to establish their network downline.
I think how long it take also varies, on time commitment, knowledge/experience, and the opportunity itself.
However, I share with people, that you MUST establish what I call your HBT (Home Business Time). Since many people start out part-time with their networking home business, they must also commit to putting in the work, the same as they do with everything else, or you will continue to just "shelve" the necessities to have success in your mlm.
People will block out time to go to church, watch sports, go to parties, children's events, etc., but they don't definitively block out time to free themselves financially, or to add additional income with their own business. But those that do, can find themselves on a success track that leads to some nice additional and full-time income.
Pick a program that has a unique product or service that people would buy without an oppty attached to it. Then learn everything you can about the business. Then learn how to use tools or services to leverage your time. Have great expsoures in place and pound of people with your aweber autoresponders. Sometimes it takes 6-9 exposures to make a sale. I only speak to aces or super hot leads who I have three wayed to me via a call center. Yes it cost money but unless you understand ROI and treat this like a real business with marketing costs and such you will not have the success you are looking for. To many people join a business cause they are broke and then have no money to advertise it or work it and then they blame the business for being a scam when in fact they are not truly ready to run a six figure a year business.
