Is submitting URLs to search engines really worth going through with to promote your item; whatever it may be.
Because it can take months for your site, articles, videos, audios and any other item to be seen by viewers, what must one do when they need their results available for public viewing ASAP?
Without using a paid ad or PPC.

Here are some things I do. It does't take months for some of these things

Write articles, linking to your website.

Set up a couple Squidoo pages, linking to your website.

Set up a simple blog, linking back to your website.

It does take awhile for a new site to get indexed. But these are all free methods to use to help speed up the process.

It doesn't take months, but it does take time consuming work and typically a sizable learning curve.

Offline marketing it the forgotten jewel to home business success. But those that know that are making out well, especially when combined with online marketing.

That's the exception rather than the rule. It is possible for your site, articles, videos, audios and other items to be available for public viewing the next day, sometimes even the same day. It depends on several factors, including the strategies you use, when, where and how you make your submissions... and luck!

Here's a thread related to this topic.

It can take some time but if you're in it for the long haul then it is well worth it. Your business is an investment and as with any worthwhile investment, a long-term strategy is best.

Doing offsite SEO should be continuous. There is no need to submit your site to Google as they can crawl each site everyday. Your pages will still be indexed if you use the perfect keyword and on site optimization well.

If you do your keyword research and know what people are searching for, then provide valuable, relevant, and interesting information on those topics... you can create targeted organic traffic from Search Engines. The Search Engines are a valuable referrer for free traffic.

Is the effort to get indexed and recognized by Search Engines worth it? Sure, it's worth it! The more organic traffic you get, the more profitable your site or other Internet endeavor will be. It's free traffic! That makes it well worth it. [IMG]

The most successful online businesses know their market. They know the demand, supply, and also know what keywords people interested in their product or service are using to find themes or topics related to their business. That's an important part of creating a good foundation for an online business.

Most people neglect this important first step of setting up their Website or other endeavors for online business... Research is essential to success.

Once you know what folks are looking for, all you have to do then is write to presell your ideas and/or product using keywords that people interested in your product or service use most often to search at the engines.

People come to the Internet for information. Search Engines strive to give them what they want.... relevant, reliable information on the topics they are searching for. Providing that information satisfies the Searcher, which satisfies the Search Engine. Internet Searchers are basically the Search Engine's customer. If you can give the Search Engine what its customers want, they will be happy to direct them your way! [IMG]
