There are a TON of scripts for Coastal Vacation. I have most of them and can tell you that of all the scripts I've used over my 4+ years with Coastal - The short forms always work best.

Get in, get the prospect the info and move on.

Where can I find the short form? The ones on the Official training site appears to be the long ones.

I really don't use a script anymore. I'm to the point with folks. I simply get them the details they are looking for - takes about 3-5 minutes. Then, I'm off to my next prospect.

There's not a script called short form - this simply means - short form of communication.

I agree alot with Jay on this one. For long periods of time I used a script. I come from a big sales background and your script was your Bible on cold and even warm calls. I can do the long version or the short version. Heck ive had years of experience doing that. But I found out that many of my team mates didnt have that particular skill. We spent hours of time trying to get them up to speed. To be honest it was not a good use of time. More honestly it was a waste of time. The people good at scripts will read a script and get it right away but those you have to teach lose valuable time they could already be using to making money. Think of this simple principle. Could you tell someone you know that down the street gas is on sale for $1.50 a gallon? Of course you could. Thats a great deal. Well treat your business the same way. Its a great deal. So tell them in the same manner.

Hey ______ I know you and your family travel from time to time. I came across a great deal you should look at. There is even a biz opt if thats what you are looking for. Go to my site @ _______ and take a look for yourself.

(I add this part as I offer an incentive from another vacation company to just get them to look at my site...with great results I might add)

Hey _____ just for looking im giving away a vacation voucher where you and a family member can go away to a few different locations for each under $200/wk excluding your airfare. So when you go look we can answer your questions and explain to you how to redeem your vacation.

This is all I do. It works at a high percentage. I waste little time in the beginning as I dont know if they are serious or not. If they are serious then they will get the details on my website. Thats what its for. If they fill out forms on my site then my autoresponder kicks in. If you have Contact Talk you can implement it as well. Systems working for your benefit. Plus the new person can do this asap. No learning curve. Just a curve in the money they start making.

I hope this helps. If any of you need marketing, sales training, web design and or coaching you can contact me for a free consultation. If you are a opt seeker be sure to email me with what you are looking for and we can set up a time to do a fact finding consultation.

  6. We too have moved away from reading from a script. We now use bullet points in the way of questions. We cover the same basic questions in every call. This way we are able to focus more on the connection with that prospect as opposed to just reading a script and not really listening to their response.
Making that connection is so important.

I personally don't like scripts at all. I ask F.O.R.M questions. That stands for Family, Occupation, Recreation, Money. I agree jay keep it short and simple. NEXT!!!
