    Hi,
I have been using this tool for a while, but it doesn't have very accurate stats, in fact sometimes I find an alright set of keywords, write the articles, go back to the tool the next day to find the keyword has totally dropped. Is there any better tools?

    Hi Shiva,

The Google keyword tool is an excellent tool. I use it all the time and recommend it to everyone.

Spend some time learning how to use it and be sure to do some manual footwork as well (check out the actual results in the search engine for example).

Which tool did you use? Anyway, we shouldn't trust the results of keywords tools 100%. If you really want to know whether people are really searching for the keywords that you would like to target, just run a google adwords campaign and you will know the results.

I have been running this kind of campaign before I start writing articles or contents for my website. This is because basing on the impressions of the keywords I can be very certain that people are searching for the keywords that I am targeting.

    Hope the above helps

The google keyword tools available before you login to adwords is the best and most accurate. Just one thing - when you do look for a keyword using that tool, make sure you change the settings from "broad" to "exact". You will get a correct figure only then for your chosen keyword.

    Hi annettejones,
How exactly do we do this? I can't see a settings section or button anywhere.
    Thanks,

    Keywords
    Advertiser Competition
    Approx Search Volume: March
    Approx Avg Search Volume
    Match type

    Srama3,
The above is what you see on the top of the keywords column after you type on your keyword and hit get results.

You can look to the right of the screen and you will see the last column that says "match type" and below that column you see the word add underlined and in blue for every keyword Google found matching.

Where it say "match type" you will see a box with an arrow that lets you know there are more options. This box usually says broad. Hit the arrow the box will drop down and you will see the option for exact. Hit exact and it will change your results. [IMG]

    Hi All,
What is the easiest way to get your keywords to the front end of the queue when using a google sales campaign?

    Cheers

    Mark,

I think if anyone could answer that question, Google would have to change their algorithm. Everyone wants to be at the top. There is no quick and easy way to get there... if there was, we would all be doing it! Oh, if we'd all be doing it... who would be on top?? LOL viscious cycle.
