Hello -well we are off to the drive-in with our two little one 2 & 6 and we all just had a 2 hr nap as they are showing 4 movies tonight! -not like we'll stay awake that long anyway.

So I started spending my budget on traffic sites -you know the ones that you can post every day for $15 a year, etc. and I did 2 types of click through company campaigns(1 for 2500, 1 for 5000) These didn't cost a lot but I have got no opt-ins yet so the cost will eventually add up.
I didn't want to start doing the PPC until I had my own website up and running as lots of people have the vacation power and the WCYS sites so it wouldn't stand out.

Has anyone tried any traffic methods that have worked? You don't have to give me their names but how are people getting opt-ins shy of buying leads that go right to your site.

Does anyone know of any companies where you only pay if people opt-in to your site and not just look at it?

I could really use some guidance as I only have $300 a month budget and I need to start seeing results soon.

Has anyone had luck advertising in the paper with those 3 or 4 line ads?

    Thanks for your input-Judy

I think you are better off doing pay per click even though you now have a replicated site. That is OK. You will get targeted opt ins. I am not so sure about the traffic sites. Although not very expensive, I don't think you will get the results you hope for. I suggest you work on your pay per click. You can set low budgets so you son't be taken to the cleaners but use our back office training to get yourself familiar with how to best utilize it. Yahoo seems to be cheaper than google, although I must admit I do get more optins from google.

I have not had any luck with classified ads. However, our call center says that is how they get most of their calls. If you are going to try that, follow the back office suggestions to a T, including where to advertise and what to say. They have techniques and suggestions that do work, but for me, I just don't think I have put enough time in to that strategy.

    Hi Judy,

Wow...I'm just curious where your getting your advice on this. 1) Guaranteed Traffic sights are not a reliable way to advertise at all. 2) Click through companies are also a bad way to market as MOST are already in a business and only looking to promote their business...but best of luck on both.

Thanks for the advice Jay but what are the things other than ppc, article writing, having a info dense website that work to bring in opt-ins?
My director uses free advertising to promote her business but I now think she spends about 8 hours in front of the computer looking at other sites just to get her own seen.

So are you saying advertising on lists rarely works in our business?
Just looking for cheap ways that I can get seen.

Sorry to say it but you're in the wrong group. Where is your upline support?

Definitely so called 'Guaranteed Traffic' are not the best place to spend your money. Just think about it, those free sites people have money to spend $1295 on Coastal??
With PPC be careful, if you're inexperienced they will take your money in the heart beat. Free classifieds? Don't think so, maybe paid in magazine's.
Start educating yourself from seo marketing. That way you don't have to depend on nobody. And when you start making money, you don't have to worry about all this, just outsource it.
