My name is Mona and I'm new in E-Marketing. I'd like some advises about effective advertising in google adwords.

What should I avoid and what could be best when advertising in adwords?

Hi Mona, I can tell you one thing when promoting site through adwords. Before you start an adwords campaign, do some keyword research on some keyword ideas you may have. Depending on your sites content, you need to figure out what keywords are relevant to your site and then you can figure what keywords you are going to use. I use Keyword Elite software but I also use h**p:// Remember to take out those asteriks and replace with "tt"
As far as your ad goes, try to use keywords that will be in your adwords "ad" so that when someone searches for keywords you have, your ads impression will appear in the results and those words will appear in "bold" and naturally attract the users eye. I hope that helps a little. Good luck!

    Hi Mona,

Read up on it until you understand it well.

Set max dollar limits - CPC, daily, etc...

Make sure your PPC ad groups are quite relevant to your landing pages.

Don't use it until you have a good understanding of online marketing fundamentals and you are already generating profits from free methods such as articles and organic traffic.

Read Adwords and PPC threads in this forum first.

    Good luck,

    ~Newbie Shield~

You want to bid on specific keywords so you get people when they are ready to purchase something. Use a small budget to start to see if it is working for you or not.

    Just a piece of advice.

If you really need to use adwords, you need to learn the basis.
    Get some training first.

You will not get the information needed to become successful in adwords through this forum. It is too complex to be summed up in a post, or a couple of posts.

You need to do exstensive research and or join a free e-course (Perry Marshall,AWMircle, etc.) Just when you think you know enough, lose that confidence and learn some more. Adwords is no set and forget type of advertising, you need to pay close attention to your campaign's and tweak, split test, and tweak some more if you don't want to donate to google.

Adwords is very expensive, there are cheaper alternatives available.
