"Sometimes you have to go out on a limb, that's where you'll find the best fruit" I don't know, I think I saw this quoted by Chuck Liddell. Though, I don't think he is the originator for this.

Love this thread! Here's a couple of my favorites..

    Nathaniel Branden:
-Live with integrity, respect the rights of other people, and follow your own bliss.

-The first step toward change is awareness. The second step is acceptance.

-The more solid our self-esteem, the better equipped we are to cope with troubles that arise in our careers or in our personal life.

    Virginia Satir:
-We need 4 hugs a day for survival. We need 8 hugs a day for maintenance. We need 12 hugs a day for growth.

-Every word, facial expression, gesture, or action on the part of a parent gives the child some message about self worth. It is sad that so many parents don't realize what messages they are sending.

    Louise Hay:
-If we really love ourselves, everything in our life works.

-Love is the great miracle cure. Loving ourselves works miracles in our lives.

-Your thoughts and beliefs of the past have created this moment, and all the moments up to this moment. What you are now choosing to believe and think and say will create the next moment and the next day and the next month and the next year.

    Mark Twain:
-A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval.

-The worst loneliness is not to be comfortable with yourself.

-All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence, and then success is sure.

    Wayne W. Dyer:

-Accept that you are enough. You don't need to be anything that you are not.

-You cannot be lonely if you like the person you're alone with.

    ..and here's more... :)

The way you treat yourself sets the standard for others. -Sonya Friedman

If you don’t run your own life, somebody else will. -John Atkinson
