If you are lacking motivation in an area then I think one of the best things to do is to just make a start. Don't focus on the whole task but just on taking one small step. Often the reason we get de-motivated is because it all just seems too big and difficult, whereas if we just take one small step it will become a lot easier to do the rest. Also, if you need more motivation then set yourself a target and say once you have done say thirty minutes of the task then you will reward yourself with something that you enjoy. Starting is usually the biggest obstacle in getting motivated and once you can do that then the rest should be a whole lot easier so reward yourself for making a start and just focus on the start and the rest will come.
