Hi guys, just joined your forum since I've been a reader for a while and I'm starting to come up with some questions of my own. I am currently employing the lifeempowermentsystem strategies and still learning a lot about affiliate marketing. I was just considering some other streams of income, and it seems thats what a lot of you guys are doing.

I also see a lot of posts about people have a "downline", I've tried to figure this out but to me it just seems kind of like a MLM type thing? Everybody always seems so excited when one comes out, anybody recommend one for me to try? Any advice at this point would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thanks for your time,
    Rocky

    Hi Rockyci
I have just join Stone Evans PluginProfitSite. Since I just started I can't say anything on down line commissions. I have researched and still continue to do so and everything I've found says the people that have joined seem to be content. Some are upset about set up fees that surprise you as you go along but I consider that part of setting up a business. The big surprises are optional, leaving you to get even more creative. On this forum and others, I have seen people that have been using this business for 2-3 years so they will have better input.
I don't do anything without much deliberation and I am going to give this a try (at least a year) and I'm enjoying learning all this anyway.

No not yet, but I'll keep you posted. Right now since started I have started to get a little traffic but no takers so I am still doing somthing wrong. My target marketing must be wrong, but all I can do is stick with it and figure it out.!!

I am also a PIPS member and think that it provides the best training of all the programs i have run across on the net. The"30 days to success" guide is as good as it gets for a formula for proven success and anyone who fails at this just isn't trying to promote their website properly.

Everyone is pointing out very interesting points. Here are my thoughts. In concept all this programs have the potential to make you lots of money. The website that is provided gives you the potential counting that you drive traffic through it. There are billions of internet surfers looking for ways to make money. Your job is to funnel those hungry idea seekers to your site and have them buy something from your links. Another idea is to simply have an original product instead of re-selling someone elses. If you were to create an Ebook on how to train dogs and humans the cesar millan way without the hight price, you might corner the market as it will be an unique product who only you sells. You can sell this product on your site or on an auction on ebay. Being that is unique someone, lots of someones will buy it. So in my mind, if you are reselling someone elses, traffic to your site is the key. I hope that helps.

I am also in the PIPS program.
Actually, if you follow the steps listed in the training guide, you are able to get some traffic to your site.

Currently, i have joined PPG membership. This website will highlight what is required to do for the PIPS. The membership is only USD197 per year. I personally think it is worth the money. There are 6 mentors who are already in the top of the PIPS program. They will guide you step by step. Try it if you have spare cash.

    Hi Cherie,

Thanks for the kind words. We work with you 1 on 1 to be successful with PIPS. Stone is more a mythical figure that you rarely see so we decided to start a mentoring group almost 2 years ago to help those people that need more 1 on 1 training....

    Take care

    Hi Rocky,

There are many different ways to make money online. Affiliate marketing has worked best for me, but everyone is different. I wrote a post in this same forum with a list of 15 different methods for making income online, it should start generating some more ideas. You can check it out here:

How To Money - A Comprehensive List on How to Make Money Online

With that being said, I do believe it's important to focus and master a method before adding another. But, try out different ways and see what works best for you. Then go for it, be persistent, focused, and patient and you'll do just fine

Hey Dave! I think the topic starter has run off or just tired. But what you posted could still benefit others too.

rockyci: anybody recommend one for me to try?
My advice rockyci is not to try it. Here is why:

In MLM you'll be stuck with a certain market, i.e.: a certain product(s) that sell to a special group of people. This is a great disadvantage.

What happens is that if you, for example, are going to promote an MLM that sells health products, and you erranously start promoting it to the "health and wellness" market, you'll find yourself competing with all kinds of companies that charge less for the same product (because there is no commission to pay). And if you focus on promoting it to the MLM market (people who want to make money online) you might get some referrals and because more than 95% will fail they will drop it and you'll find yourself at square one after a while.

And no matter what you do, you'll be stuck with these two markets.

On the other hand, affiliate marketing that you have already started to learn is a set of rules and practices that can be taken to any market. If health and wellness market fades you can do dog training, dating, relations, divorce, automotive, insurance, loans, .... the list is endless.

Got my point? Just focus on learning affiliate marketing ... this is the present and the future.
