As long as you don't have spyware or people hacking into your computer you should be ok.

I suggest you should have your internet business on a seperate CPU.
If you have kids you should. A Family CPU and Business CPU.

I would recommend using the same computer for your internet business, just watch for those nasty viruses if you are on a PC!

If you are at your own house and have a PC then you can do business from there.

Why wouldn't you want to do business from your own PC?

That does not make sense to me at all.

If you have children or teenagers at home, it may be better to have a different computer. You do not want to lose your data if there is a problem

That depends if the pc you are using is a shared computer or not.
If you are using the pc by yourself, it doesn't make sense to have a separate pc.

As long as you have the pc healthy from virus and spyware, it is ok.

I think that a nice solution to separate your business activity and personal activity without going out and buying a new computer is to just buy an additional hard drive.

You can install your operating system on the new drive and password protect your profile. This way you can have the original hard drive be the default, and when your family starts the computer it automatically boots to that hard drive. When you want to work, you select your business hard drive.

This way if you or your family contract a virus or corrupt the OS or hard drive it will be isolated to that one hard drive and impossible to effect the other.

If you don't know how to configure this yourself, take your PC to a professional and request the above.

Well, if you're fighting with the kids for time on the computer, maybe it's time to get a second one, lol.
