Has anyone seen the Non-recruit agreement yet on the training site? You must sign it now before attending any Coastal events Just FYI!

    Thanks Rhonda.

    I don't think that it's a legal document.

(BUT in light of what is happening on this forum I can understand why they are doing this and I agree with it wholeheartedily)

Hmm. Makes you wonder why they had to create the document. What do you think about it?

They had to create it cause people were signing up people and making deals, that belonged to others at events, and stole sales under their noses.

So, this is to keep it fair.

At the last event in Vegas, I could not talk about who I was with, or what I did, it was nice but weird at the same time. So people wanted to know "how I did it" and I could not say....

I think it's a great move in the right direction.

You mean you couldn't mention which group of Coastal you were with? When you say signing up people and making deals, do you mean upgrading to higher levels? Sorry, I am just confused. From what I can tell, it sounds like a good thing.
  8. Im curious how many people at the conference will be recruiting for this mortgage opportunity. I guess the leadership will just have to sign the agreement first. I am very curious to see and hear about how this plays out.

I've heard stories of different directors picking up new associates at the seminars. One "leader" has been quoted as saying..."I get a new team member at every seminar", then has given her team members a hard time for doing the same thing...hmmm.

People will not recommend an event IF there's cross recruiting going on. One of the challenges with "Some" of the groups within Coastal is that they are becoming a sales machine...selling their Group training, coaching, seminars, mortgages and whatever else comes down the pike. THIS IS MAJOR Cross Recruiting......and I STRONGLY recommend against this. If your a part of a group like this, EXPECT to lose people.

For all of you Coastal members you need to read the agreement in its entirety so you know all the facts. I have a copy of it for anyone looking. It was implemented in Vegas and will be binding for all upcoming Coastal events. I dont agree with all the fine print in the document but truly understand why the BOD put it in place. I have personally heard of directors saying they go to the events to "pick up" people from other organizations. Now I dont have a problem with showing people other opportunities but if they are in Coastal and you take them from COA to say CSG,CWB or WCYS then that isnt a good practice. Many so called leaders use their pull to sway guest/prospects to them as opposed to the team member that invited them to the event. One of my associates in CSG had this happen to them in Nashnille recently. I wasnt there so I dont have all the details but I hear its common practice. It is unfortunate that this is the case. I used to enjoy the live events and would event send guest if I wasnt going to be there but ill never do that again. I would suggest that everyone just read the document that is posted on the official coastal training site.

Personally if I were at a Coastal function I would not want to be approached by other Coastal Directors with "other" opportunities nor would I want that to happen to anyone on my team.

My reason for being there is for Coastal training etc and not to be pitched on something else.

    Hey Adam,

I heard the same thing about the Nashville event. I was at the event, but misseed the excitement as I hear it was a big yelling match. I believe Mark Hoverson offered to give someone their directors release if they bought their Coastal Membership with him...and the other director had been working with the lady, but the lady was not able to buy when the other director started working with the lady.

YOU KNOW...It's sad to think that someone would goto an event and take someone elses sale.
