Hey Carla, what do you mean you own 9 sites? Are they affiliate sites? Are they nine separate sites of the same product or service?

If you could clarify what your sites do, sell, etc. I would love to give you some ideas if I could, on how to promote them.

Basically, what are your overall goals for the websites?

I failed at most of these businesses with promotions. I thought recently I need to find an advertising opportunity which will make me money... So i can advertise and make money at the same time... I found Fortune Cookie Promotions and its very cute and fun. Great way to market a business also. You never know who will open those cookies [IMG]

If I were you, I'd get myself a Wordpress site (one that you host yourself) - Google loves Wordpress sites and before I got my domain name, I'd find all the long-tail keywords that would bring the targeted traffic, but they are low enough in competition that you could actually get on the front page of the major search engines...

After you get the domain name, build the site out and use SEO Presser to optimize every page. And each page should be optimized for a different keyword combination... like Extreme Webpage Creation does is, but without the automation.

If you had 50 longtail keywords, that's 50 pages of great content you could have individually optimized on your blog and I would be willing to bet, you could start seeing some traffic in a very short amount of time.

Have you tried writing a short report (4-7pages) and giving this report away for FREE to people on the 'pet supply' forums.

Make sure the report has quality information that people will want to read and use. You are NOT trying to sell them anything in this report.

Inside the report place links to your website where you can capture their email address and get them on your list.

Periodically send them useful information and cultivate relationships with the people on your list. DON'T try to sell them everytime you email.

In time they will trust you and they WILL buy from you.

    Hope this helps.

Hello, boy it takes work doesn't it? A lot of people posted some good ideas and I think you should follow about building a website and market online with seo. If you can find some low competing keywords to bid on that will help you get off to a faster start as far as making some money goes. Also like I say about getting yourself a autoresponder so you can grab your prospects details and start a relationship with him/her.

I totally agree with this post. You have to become a leader in your niche to attract others to join your team. I can help you if you contact me but article marketing IS the way to go. I do suggest that you use an article marketing software. And PLEASE utilize the keyword marketing tools that are out there for you for FREE. Just Google "Google Keyword Tools" That makes a major difference in marketing whatever you are marketing. Blog, video marketing and article marketing is the way to go!

Lead capture pages with an autoresponder, classified ads, are you allowed to sell on online auction sites?, local ads, local vets, think of places where owners take pets or are looking for pet products. Have seperate websites with different keywords that are highly searched for online, you have to learn about seo. I can get found online in about a day for certain items. Depends on competition also, but there's ways you can boost rankings quickly.

You need organic traffic. Organic traffic is the best website traffic because these are visitors who are actively searching for your product or service via search engine. Your conversion rates will increase dramatically. And generating this sort of traffic is easier than you may think.

Hire an SEO specialist who specializes in Article Creation, Press Releases, Video Marketing, and services of that nature. Marketing should be easy, the same way grocery shopping is. You're not required to raise a cow if you desire a glass of milk. So why stress yourself out trying to figure out the mechanics and dynamics of search engine optimization?

You need a plan! Accidental success cannot be reproduced, because you lack the information needed to reach the same destination twice.

Thumbs up on your efforts so far. My intial thoughts on what else you can do is
    Off line
1.) Pet Fairs pet related events
2.) Flyers and especially signs on telephone poles
    On Line
    1. Free classified sites
    2. social media.

Got samples? Go to your local dog park make sure you have a few samples. Walk up and comment on the dog, etc. Then give the doggie a sample. Look at the owner and say wow your dog really loves this huh? Then continue the conversation. Then exchange information.

Great advice from the networkers above! Put it to use and I have no doubt you'll succeed.

My ideas are nothing new. First, network with pet lovers in your area. Attend meet and greets with like-minded individuals and you can expand your business multiple times. Secondly, I would develop a fully functioning website which helps capture leads for you. (Hopefully, your current website does this for you. If not, find one that does. Third, I would write an informative blog about pets with links to your website.

I wish you all the success in the world!

Have you ever thought about using door hangers for folks around your area? It of course will cost some $ but I just read a post about that just the other day.[IMG]
