Hey everyone. I'm pretty excited I just found this forum; huge fan of them. Anyway I'm a college student and I'm looking for an easy way to make cash over the Xmas holiday. I've stumbled onto two paid for survey sites a couple of days ago and have thoroughly researched the internet's top picks since. 'Paid Surveys Etc and Express Paid Surveys' were the two who kept coming up with the best reviews and satisfaction. I know lots of people out there don't believe in paying a site to make money, but I consider it a very small investment. Before I commit to either one, has anyone of you actually used or is currently using any of these two sites with success? I would like to hear from all experiences both good and bad. Thanks a lot!

I never heard of the two. Probably because I would not pay a site for paying surveys. You might want to check out Cashcrate. They have good reviews and also it is free to join. It has paying surveys and offers.

neither of them. go with sites that are free to join. I am happy to help if you have questions...as I have been at this over 5 years now and am lucky enough to make about $500 - $600 a month doing surveys...and never having spent a penny of my own money [IMG]

Agree with the above two posts, no need to pay for either sites - they don't have surveys, they just give you a list of survey sites which you can find yourself or there are many sites offer those information for free.

Listen, don't let the big signs and boasts cloud you. Seriously, who is going to pay you $75 for a survey???

Some actually do, but they are very few and very far between. Focus groups are a great way to make that kind of money. It is hard to get into the good ones though.
I agree however, Never pay to get a list of survey sites. There are many places to get that info for free.

Ahmen to that never pay for a survey list there are way to many sites out there that offer this service for free. And yes focus groups pay pretty good I have one in La on the 11th that is going to pay me $75 for 2 hrs and feed me [IMG] Were going to talk about the electric companies. And I am prepared to slam them they charge way to much. [IMG]

I couldn't agree more. Over here in FL, my bill went up $50 last month with no A/C or heat on. Tell them how we feel!

100% agree about not buying a list. Those guys want to profit twice, once when you sign up an 100 times in commission when you join each paid survey site they recommend. Much better just going to a free list.

Also, I have personally received $50 surveys and been offered $175 to attend a focus group. Unfortunately that's not the norm however. It is nice to earn an extra $20-50 a week from home in my pj's though!

Paid Survey Etc ... or is it You pay to take surveys etc????

Never Ever Pay for something that is free, It is free to join paid survey sites ( because its like a job ) This site is trying to scam people for the information that is free... They are simply signing you up for the paid survey sites ( which they also are affiliates ) and charging you a fee.

Both Express Paid Surveys and Paid Survey Etc. are great sites. But if you haven't done surveys before I recommend that you try some free sites before you invest any money. Some people say that doing surveys is tedious, so its not for everyone. I suggest going to Mindfield, Valued Opinions or Vindale which are free survey sites and I have had a good experience with. Then if you're still interested join a Paid Survey Site. Paid Sites typically have better results because they cut trough all the junk that other sites put out.

That's not necessarily true; I've joined Free Sites before like yourfreesurveys[dot]com and I ended up getting lots of spam, surveys that only paid $0.50, a whole bunch of Earn Points Sites and an all around bad experience. Now I'm in a Paid Survey Sites, I don't get that much spam and I am getting surveys that pay $5.00 and up. So Free Survey Sites and Paid Survey Sites are not the same. Besides if you want to start any business you have to invest some money and Paid Survey Sites are NOT scams. I'm speaking from firsthand experience.

    paid survey etc:

One of the greatest benefits of Paid Surveys Etc is that it does the dirty job of actually finding sites to be reviewed and gives it to the subscribers. This makes it possible for the subscribers to focus only on filling out the surveys and they do not waste time on trying to find out where the plum survey sites are

    Express paid survey:

The surveys here are from a host of companies, most of which are highly reputed names in the corporate world. The frequency of highly paying surveys is thus quite high on Express Paid Surveys.

But the main point is why pay for something that other sites offer for free. Atm I offer over 200 online survey sites and I do not charge a dime for this information.

Bottom line paid survey site lists are a scam you can get the same information with a little digging.

Why would you want to do all that digging when someone has already done it for you? How long do you think it will take to "dig" through 200 sites and find out which ones work?(There are way more than 200 sites out on the Net) It would take a few days for you to register, answer surveys and see which ones are worthwhile, because most sites make a lot of promises but don't deliver.

What you are saying is like; Why buy a house when you could build one for a much lower cost? Why pay a contractor to build the house when you can build it yourself without paying for labor? I can go on and on but the point is, "Time is money" and the time you spend digging for sites that work, you can pay someone that dug already and be making money within a couple of hours.

I respect your opinion but calling paid survey sites a SCAM isn't very accurate. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, just wanted to share mine.

    Best wishes

No what I am saying is I have already done the digging and offer this service for free to people. There is no reason for them to pay for something when it is there for free. I have sen many sites that offer the service you are reffering to and they offer alot of trash. The only thing they are doing is offering up junk survey sites wich then in turn piss people off because they have paid for a product or service from you thinking they would make tons of money by doining online surveys.

The truth of the matter is you will not get rich by doing surveys but if you pick and choose the correct ones you will make a few extra dollars a month.

The main thing I tell all my people is do your research look up the company information dont spend your money on web sites that offer to make you tons of money for siging up with them it bogus and the only thing they are doing is making the web master's pockets rich.

So bottom line if you are going to do online surveys do YOUR OWN RESEARCH use peoples sites to assist you in this task or else your in for a world of spam and wastfull time and money on your part.

I am not saying that every paid survey site is a scam what I am saying is the only thing they do is group up sites and in most cases junk sites that they know nothing about and try to market and sell them to people.

I use to take surveys for pay and the companies did not charge me to do it. The pay per survey was small but some paid better for the longer, more in depth surveys. An for some you built up rewards for discounts on thisng like hotel stays and airline flights (just to name a few).

Think about it. If they are getting paid by the companies to do the surveys why would they charge you to take it.

survey is not the thing the make you rich. but you can get some good income with the right method and with the right site. all you have to do is to find out which paid survey to spend and which one you should avoid

Well I would say we are staying on topic the topic is asking what is better Paid Surveys Etc or Express Paid Surveys??

However I am clearly stating my opinion that you do not need to pay for a list of survey sites so I would say stay away from both of these sites.

This is another panel you have to pay for.

Keep them free and offer up information about survey sites that you have done like lightspeed or pinecone research.

However these are just my opinions and nothing more. [IMG]
