A short time back I sat up a Review Site, my mode of operation is to promote one product at a time until I see some sort of results coming in.

Somewhere I read that a good test of a product is to take the amount of commission you can earn e.g. $20 and if after spending 90% of that on promoting the product you have no sales then scrap the product and move on.

I'm not to sure about this. My own feeling would tend towards setting an upper limit on the number of Clicks you have before moving on, and I'm thinking that for inexperienced people that should be in the region of 200 clicks or 0.5%. But that is just my guess

Can some of the more experience members tell me what way they test to see if a product is worth persevering with.

    Thanks in advance

Do you have a link you can provide to the landing page? There could be a number of factors that are effecting your sales stats: it could be untargeted traffic, a bad landing page, or other factors.

I don't want to display my own site but my reviews and site design for the body of the site is pretty similar to Steven Holdaway's Review Solutions That's an example only I don't promote golf.

I'd be interested in hearing how effective you think Holdaways Reviews actually are, would it make you click? I see also there is a fault on his page.

Anyway looking forward to hearing from you

There is no preview feature. You can however edit your posts within an hour after posting.

Depends on how you promote the product.

Perhaps you can ask your sponsor/mentor about the promotion.
