Are any of you guys familiar with Versativa? It is a new hemp-based network marketing company, and is a subsidiary of a larger company known as ForeverGreen. It seems to be truly revolutionary, and is starting out only selling two types of hemp foods.

If you're not familiar with the power of hemp seed, it is one of the most nutritious foods in the world. It has all eight essential amino acids, the Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids in the perfect ratio, as well as fiber and natural chlorophyll. To have such influence finally entering the market in a big way is exciting to me, because once the market for hemp gets big enough, the world will see how valuable it is. Plus, people will be a lot healthier if they're eating this stuff.

Compared to other network marketing opportunities, which are really just about making money with any kind of useful product one can find, this is a movement to not only be profitable, but change the world with hemp. If you know the true power of the hemp plant, then you understand just how important that is.

Anyways, I encourage anyone interested to look into this, and take it upon themselves to help bring hemp to the world (while making money). You can learn more from the main site, , but also feel free to ask questions because I've been researching this opportunity in depth.

Marijuana comes from a different kind of cannabis plant than hemp. Industrial hemp has no THC and cannot produce psychoactive effects at all. In fact, when grown near marijuana, it destroys that plant's potency as well.

However, cannabis marijuana is definitely a good thing as well, for its incredible medical usages. It's irrelevant in this instance though, because Versativa is completely focused on hemp nutrition. It's important to make these distinctions, of course.

    Yes to alla dat Phoenix.

Hemp I understand to be a plant that is just beyond belief with it's usefulness.
And Marijuana too I'll hasten to add, with no apologies whatsoever.

Natural products are generally unbeatable, for food, healing, all kinds of clothing and textiles, to include the beneficial effects of THC in the cannabis plant varieties.

The only problem being that natural products don't have the addictive qualities and high profit margins of manufactured drugs and other products.

Whatever your belief system, naturally occurring plants, animals, insects and minerals are part of our existence here on earth for good reason.
They are simply unbelievable in untapped potential.
Not necessarily so profitable though, for those who would like to sell/tell you otherwise.

Perhaps you may have heard the recent news about the venom of the Brazilian Wandering Spider:
"...when a human is bitten by this spider, we can observe many different symptoms including priapism, a condition in which the penis is continually erect."

    Unfortunately though:
"Other side-effects on top of the long-painful erections include loss of muscle control, severe pain, difficulty breathing and if its victim is not treated with anti-venom, could lead to death due to oxygen deprivation."

But hey, what a way to go right?

Anyway, this naturally occurring substance is of course being investigated for it's obvious beneficial potential!

    But I digress.
    Hemp is da shiznit!

Ha ha, that's pretty funny about that venom. I don't know why they would be investigating it if there are so many horrible side effects. Just because the venom produces one good thing, and even that seems to be too strong of an effect, companies are looking into it? There are many natural things out there that are good for us, but plenty that are bad too. Just think poison ivy and black widows... not good.

But in regards to hemp, that is truly the king of plants, and can help us so well. I want to let you all know I have officially gotten started with Versativa, and it's everything I imagined it to be. The products are great, the people are great, and I feel that this is something I can dedicate my life to. After being a hemp activist for so long, this feels like home to me. Quite good stuff, indeed.

    That's the nature of chemical/medicines.
    They are extremely poisonous!

Good in measured amounts - with UNdesirable side effects.

Vaccines ARE the very disease causing substances themselves!

Bound up with inactive ingredients, many sources of poisonous drugs are harmless in their natural state.
Western scientific man distills these down to the sole active chemical (poison) and thus we have our many drug problems.

Coca leaf is a good example.
Used harmlessly for millennia we isolate the 'active' ingredient, with our 'advanced science', and all hell breaks loose.

There's BILLIONS to be made in this practice.

ThePhoenix: here are many natural things out there that are good for us, but plenty that are bad too. Just think poison ivy and black widows... not good.
WE are bad for many natural things as well!

And MOST of nature was here BEFORE us.

I am no botanist or entomologist, but it's pretty obvious that poison ivy and black widow spiders serve a useful purpose, as do great white sharks and mountain lions.

Nature doesn't exist to solely serve our purposes after all!

And no doubt, eradicating human life from this planet may indeed serve a useful 'purpose'.

    Till then, there's HEMP!
    (and Cannabis!)

    ThePhoenix New Member

Yes, it is certainly true that everything in nature serves a purpose, and in most cases that purpose is not to help us. But we need to fight as hard as we can to ensure a safe world for us no matter what, because pain and hardship are so crushing to one's reality, and stopping those kinds of things is all that matters.

I think hemp can eliminate a lot of the problems we face, so that's why I do what I do. And not only hemp, but cannabis medicine as well. The whole plant is so ridiculously useful, we have to take advantage of it!

Ridiculous too is this drug war which makes it impossible to freely utilize natural products of the earth like cannabis and hemp.

Sweet! Sounds cool. Dr. Oz was talking about hemp seeds and hemp milk on his show the other day. I hadn't heard of it up until his show, so It definitely peaked my interest!

I'm so glad to see the level of agreement people have with this. It's inspiring to know there are many others who understand the power of hemp. And after having hemp nutrition in my life for so long, I can attest that the hemp plant really is life transforming.

Perhaps you can post some links about hemp food products?
(I don't see any for sale in MY neighborhood!)

Here is a sobering quote I found online that is taken from: Hemp Line Journal, July-August 1992, pp. 14-15, Vol. I No. 1

One out of two Americans will die from the effects of cardiovascular disease (CVD). One out of four Americans will die from cancer. Researchers believe cancers erupt when immune system response is weakened. Pioneers in the fields of biochemistry and human nutrition now believe CVD and most cancers are really diseases of fatty degeneration caused by the continued over-consumption of saturated fats and refined vegetable oils that turn essential fatty acids into carcinogenic killers. And if this is not scary enough, more Americans are succumbing to immune deficiency diseases than ever before. Sadly it is ignorance of human nutritional needs that will cause this overwhelming majority of Americans to die slowly from these afflictions -- the greatest killers in affluent nations.

Seeds of the plant cannabis sativa, hemp seed, contain all the essential amino acids and essential fatty acids necessary to maintain healthy human life. No other single plant source has the essential amino acids in such an easily digestible form, nor has the essential fatty acids in as perfect a ratio to meet human nutritional needs.

I knew about hemp textiles, clothing and body oils, but I didn't know it was such an excellent source of nutrition!

I liked eating the seeds though, which of course my 'associates' took as a sign of my ongoing descent into total lunacy...

To me, it just seems like a natural thing to do.
(They eat sunflower seeds, don't they?)

There's a tasty little 'germ' inside the fertile ones!

That's a great description TJam! It is true that cancer is caused largely by the modern lifestyle, and all the bad things we consume. There is a reason cancer was largely absent from society 100 years ago, because our food was not processed as it is today. When you eat bad things all day every day, it's no surprise that disease is going to skyrocket.

Too bad there is an unfair, unjustified drug war going on now - thanks to President Richard Milhouse NIxon!

Bill "I didn't inhale" Clinton, actually pushed for a strategy to completely EXTERMINATE the cannabis plant!

I am definitely not saying illicit drugs are a good thing.
But, for one thing, a plant is definitely not a drug.

And though there may be different opinions on the matter.
This drug war, in its current state, is simply causing more harm than good.
    WAY more!

One thing you may notice is that on TV at least, it is common for folx to be seen drinking and smoking cigarettes - like it's alright.

I understand that Partnership For A Drug Free America (as though the US medical establishment doesn't promote a billion dollar drug industry!), or some such entity, has exerted its influence so that television depicted consumption of cannabis, for any reason, is discredited.
Made to appear foolish, childish, or ineffective (as in medical marijuana).

I believe TV shows have some kind of requirement to do so in an episode or two each season.
I have certainly seen it done on many shows - while cigarettes and alcohol are routinely consumed, even to excess!
    ('Cheers' anyone?).

"Old heads" like me remember when the TV series, The Fugitive, featured a chain smoking Doctor Richard Kimball (David Jansen).

While modern medicine and even man made products have been very useful, even essential in many cases, in modern society.
The side effects and other undesirable consequences are often more than they we bargain for.

It is foolish to simply deny the many beneficial uses of a natural plant, just because, in the case of Cannabis - it makes us feel good as well!

Future generations will truly look back on this and laugh at our collective stupidity!

The entire drug war is ridiculous and I think all drugs should be regulated. People are ignorant and blind to the immense harms of the drug war, and insist on its continuation for the purpose of upholding morals and protecting us from ourselves. Does anybody remember that even heroin was 100% legal back in 1900, children could buy it over-the-counter, yet the country didn't fall apart? If made legal now, the restrictions would be extremely great and education to not do drugs would be much stronger and better. Do people think that humanity is THAT STUPID that even with such regulations and education, we would be worse off than in 1900 when we had nothing? The cost of prohibition is thousands of lives, billions of dollars, and so much wasted potential... it's just not worth it for arbitrary morals and flawed logic.

I've met Neill Franklin twice, who is the Executive Director of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition. He is an amazing man with 25+ years of law enforcement experience, who believes along with thousands of other cops that all drugs should be legal. When you see your fellow officers being gunned down on the front lines for nothing, when all your hard work to reduce drug supply and demand has ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT, it tends to change your mind. People need to think critically and not let superficial, surface-level facts control their decisions. People need to think analytically and compassionately, but this kind of thinking is far too lacking in today's world.

    1) What drug?

    2) This thread/discussion is about a business opp - versativa

    3) We discuss lots of varied topics here at WAHF - you should have noticed this by now.

    4) This biz opp, is directly affected by a costly, ineffective, racist, and just plain stupid drug war.

    5) Plants are not drugs, but this drug war obviously has you misinformed about this obvious reality.

Thank goodness, and countless humans who have dedicated and/or sacrificed their lives, for freedom of speech!

Thanks for stepping up TJ. And as for Versativa, things have still been going incredibly well. In fact, I would say they now have the best product of any network marketing company and one of the best products of any company in general. The item is called Inspirin, and it is ridiculously effective against severe pain and stress. You can simply read some testimonials on this page, and see for yourselves just how powerful hemp is.

By the way, a few days ago Versativa finally released hemp toilet paper. It's great that the company is expanding into other types of hemp industry now, and has a product that literally everyone uses. Good stuff [IMG]

I have been checking out the Versativa products.

    They look great of course!
This company looks like they really have a bead on the future.

In our search for better synthetic products, we often forget that Mother Nature has the best and most earth friendly products of all!
The profit margin of synthetic products causes this amnesia.

The damage to our world that so many synthetics often cause, will take us right back to considering natural products.

We should seriously consider natural products like hemp.
Mother Nature's plan for us is to eliminate us from her bosom - as we are much like a parasitic and destructive virus on this planet otherwise.

I just wish the site had more information about the products - on the label of each. Like what you can view in a store.
    This is important.

Shopping online requires the extra work of really "putting the product in your hand", so to speak.
  19. Curious,

So how is the hemp toilet paper Phoenix? I can't think of a better consumable product than toilet paper. lol What is the price and shipping costs? I like the idea, but in this economy, it all comes down to quality vs. price which equals value.

    Success to all,
