Does anyone have any idea how long a website has to sit in "waiting" status before it is put in the rotation?

I would like to get the answer to that one myself! I have a site that has been "waiting" for approval for well over 10 days now!
ASD members already has more than enough inconveniences than there should be, and then they had to add yet another one that we are asked to be patient with. I wish they would just put it back the way it was when we could verify our own sites and the members could report any inappropriate sites in rotation themselves. After all I think we are all adults here and know what is offensive and what isn't.

Itis pretty normal for sites to make you wait for approval for yur new sites - quite a few Traffic Exchanges have always done it.

I am sure when they get themselves organized with this new system it wont take long. It is just new.

Regrettably it is not always possible to rely on adults to watch and report sites - there is more to the forbidden than just porn - there are rotators etc etc which do need to be checked out as well.

Some traffic exchanges do and some don't. But the ones that do, it generally never takes more than 24-48 hrs to get approval.
I don't think they had the manpower in place to take on this task before they changed it.
I may be wrong but it just seems like they always put the cart before the horse when they put new things into place and it throws the whole process into chaos and it takes months (if ever) for it to work like it is supposed to.
However, most offline businesses that I have ever worked for do the same thing! They have minimal staff in place then bring in tons of new business and then waits till the employees are spread so thin trying to deal with it all to hire any new help and then expect them to take time to properly train all the new employees AND stay on top of the extra workload too! Then wonder why so many errors are made! Go figure! [IMG] [IMG] I never could understand why they do that!

freebird-are you still "waiting" for your sites? I am and I has been well over a week. ASD is kind of disappointing right now.....

I sent a support ticket and got a reply a few days ago saying that I will have to call to activate my site! I haven't called yet because the site has been down, but I will once things get back to normal. Didn't think that made much sense but that's what they said.

All my websites in my "my sites" list now all show enabled! Woohoo!

Funny thing is, I never put in a ticket or called about this.

Anyone else that was in waiting status now show as enabled again or for the first time?

Just curious what everyone else is seeing.

My site is enabled too and I didn't call them either like they told me to do in the support ticket reply. I was going to wait until the site was functional again to call but now I don't have to! WooHoo![IMG] [IMG]

PTC's seem to be approved too!

They would have had to hire 100 more people just to approve ads everyday if they kept the new must call for approval rule.
