What About Using More Than One Program

Well being in the Online Home Business field is about networking and diversifying your ability to be seen by potential consumers and getting the most bang for your buck. At least based on my reading here today so far, that is how it seems.

So. Does anyone see any advantages and/or disadvantages to someone setting up shop with 2 different programs (ie: Profit Lance & Global Resorts Network or Wealthy Affiliate)?

There can be some advantages of going with multiple programs because some of them teach certain aspects of earning money online that others don't. However, Wealthy Affiliate offers virtually everything you need in one place, so I really don't think there is a need to branch out.

GRN is actually an mlm business while the other two are tools or programs to help you with internet marketing...

The disadvantage that I see with using more than one program is that you will find it hard to stay as focused as you need to if you are jumping back and forth... but then there IS a slight variation in each program so I guess you just need to decide that...[IMG]

I think I would go with one and then when you have your brain wrapped around that one good, you can always add another. [IMG]

    Focus is so important.

Personally I have stayed with one program, and that has worked well for me.

On the side, I take the Thirty Day Challenge.

I have a friend who keeps jumping around and purchasing expensive products, without much success. I am sure this is due to lack of concentration.

    Have fun with it too!

Maybe you should stick to one program first. When the first program is stable, then branch out to another program. It will be more advisable.

    It's all about time management.

If you can find a way to do it, I'd recommend diversifying. That way you don't need to worry if one program falls flat--it won't be your only source of income.

I believe in multiple revenue streams for those who work at home. As noted, though, it does require the ability to manage your time appropriately. Some of it will be dependent upon the time commitments related to specific programs, too.

    Hi TygersClaw (cool handle),

If you are eyeballing both Profit Lance and Wealthy Affiliate, here is my suggestion:

Skip Profit Lance and go straight for Wealthy Affiliate else you'll find that it's mostly - if not entirely - redundant. Wealthy Affiliate is quite a bit more up-to-date and it has an active community.

You should also look into SBI if you don't know much about online marketing as of yet.

I concur with the above opinions as well. I wouldn't tackle more than one major program at once.

Hi TC, I've done MOIS and One Week Marketing together (they complement each other very well, it worked for me), and my next step is to become a WA member.

It is really the question what programs you combine to enhance your learning experience![IMG]
